A step device for a vehicle includes: a movable step supported under a door opening; a coupling member that, in a state of being supported by a sliding door, engages with the movable step to move the movable step in a vehicle width direction in conjunction with opening and closing of the sliding door; a support arm that has a first pivot-joint point relative to a vehicle body and a second pivot-joint point relative to the movable step, and supports the movable step toward an upper side; and a pressure bearing member that is provided at a position between the first pivot-joint point and the second pivot-joint point and bears the load of the support arm by coming into sliding contact with the support arm.
Vehicle Bumper with Retractable Step
A vehicle for attaching to a rear end of a vehicle includes a bumper body and a retractable step which includes a mounting base coupled at the bumper body, a step member, and a locking unit. The step member includes a step platform and a swing arm coupled between the mounting base and the step platform. The step member is actuated to move between a retracted position and an extended position. At the retracted position, the swing arm is pivotally and inwardly folded to move the step platform underneath the bumper body, and at the extended position, the swing arm is pivotally and outwardly folded to move the step platform out of the bumper body. The locking unit is arranged to lock up the step member at the retracted position and the extended position.
Vehicle Bumper with Retractable Step
A vehicle for attaching to a rear end of a vehicle includes a bumper body and a retractable step which includes a mounting base coupled at the bumper body, a step member, and a locking unit. The step member includes a step platform and a swing arm coupled between the mounting base and the step platform. The step member is actuated to move between a retracted position and an extended position. At the retracted position, the swing arm is pivotally and inwardly folded to move the step platform underneath the bumper body, and at the extended position, the swing arm is pivotally and outwardly folded to move the step platform out of the bumper body. The locking unit is arranged to lock up the step member at the retracted position and the extended position.
STEP MOUNTING MECHANISM AND MOTORIZED DEVICE
A step mounting mechanism includes a mounting seat, a drive component, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod and a step mounting member. The mounting seat is provided with first and second shaft holes. The drive component is connected to a drive shaft. Two ends of the first connecting rod are provided with third and fourth shaft holes. A first sealing shaft sleeve is fitted over the drive shaft, and is at least partially located in the first shaft hole. Two ends of the second connecting rod are provided with fifth and sixth shaft holes, and the second and fifth shaft holes are hinged through a first hinge shaft. The step mounting member is provided with seventh and eighth shaft holes, the fourth and seventh shaft holes are hinged through a second hinge shaft, and the sixth and eighth shaft holes are hinged through a third hinge shaft.
STEP MOUNTING MECHANISM AND MOTORIZED DEVICE
A step mounting mechanism includes a mounting seat, a drive component, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod and a step mounting member. The mounting seat is provided with first and second shaft holes. The drive component is connected to a drive shaft. The support system in the connected state is configured to support the movable tailgate portion in a step position pivoted downwardly from the tailgate in an open position thereof to provide a step. The support system in the disconnected state is configured to allow the movable tailgate portion to pivot downwardly from the tailgate in a closed position to the downwardly extending open position. The angle of pivotal movement of the movable tailgate portion relative to the tailgate is greater in the downwardly extending open position than in the step position.

A tailgate system for a vehicle comprises a tailgate and a support system. The tailgate includes a movable tailgate portion movably connected to the tailgate and configured to cover an access opening in the tailgate. The support system is selectively operable between a connected state connected to both the tailgate and the movable tailgate portion and a disconnected state. The support system in the connected state is configured to support the movable tailgate portion in a step position pivoted downwardly from the tailgate in an open position thereof to provide a step. The support system in the disconnected state is configured to allow the movable tailgate portion to pivot downwardly from the tailgate in a closed position to the downwardly extending open position. The angle of pivotal movement of the movable tailgate portion relative to the tailgate is greater in the downwardly extending open position than in the step position.
Retracting step system
An automatically extending and retracting step system according to the solution may reside in a retracted state when the deck of a car-carrying vehicle is substantially horizontal to the ground, i.e. when the deck is in a payload state. Advantageously, when the deck is tilted and extended to a ramp state for receiving cargo, the step system according to the solution extends laterally outward from beneath the deck, thereby providing a convenient and visible step for a user to use in getting down from the deck. When the deck is returned from the ramp state to its payload state, the step automatically retracts to a travel state beneath the deck.
