Adjustable truck compartment system

An example adjustable truck compartment is described. The truck compartment includes a first side wall including a first guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end, and a second side wall disposed opposite from the first side wall, the second side wall including a second guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end of the second side wall. The truck compartment includes a rear wall coupled to the distal ends of the first and second side walls to define an enclosure between the first side wall, the second side wall, and the rear wall. The truck compartment includes a first divider panel configured to be received by the first and second guiding rails and within the enclosure in an orientation parallel to a floor of the enclosure to separate the enclosure into a first enclosure volume and a second enclosure volume.

Vehicle having divisible trunk for separately heating and cooling divided trunk compartments based on object recognition

A vehicle includes a divisible trunk defining an enclosure for storing a first object and a second object, a camera to capture first and second images of the first and second objects prior to being placed into the divisible trunk and a processor to execute a machine-vision module to process first and second image data to identify the first and second objects. The vehicle includes a trunk divider to divide the trunk into first and second trunk compartments and an actuator to displace the trunk divider from an inoperative position to an operative position. The processor outputs a divider signal to the actuator to displace the divider to divide the trunk into the first and second trunk compartments. The processor outputs a thermal control signal to a thermal controller to control first and second temperatures of the first and second trunk compartments by setting first and second setpoint temperatures.

Load floor arrangement for a motor vehicle

A load floor arrangement for a motor vehicle is provided. The arrangement has a rear load floor element which, in a floor position, forms a floor portion of a load space. The load floor arrangement has a front load floor element which is connected to a backrest of a vehicle seat so as to be pivotable about a floor element pivot axis extending in the vehicle transverse direction, whereby it is adjustable between a contact position and at least one pivoted position in which its inclination relative to the horizontal is reduced compared to the contact position, when the backrest is inclined forwards in an inclined position about a backrest pivot axis.

An enclosure system for vehicles may include a body with mounting points for mounting the body in a passenger compartment of a vehicle and adapted to fit under a bench seat in the vehicle. The body may include multiple walls coupled together and may couple with one or more doors. For example, the one or more doors may couple with the body with one or more hinges and may close over a top of the body to form one or more cavities in which items may be stored. The enclosure system may also include one or more locking mechanisms for coupling the doors in a closed position and securing the cavities and items within the cavities.
