A cargo management system for a cargo area of a vehicle includes a first retention feature and a second retention feature. The first retention feature is formed in a first panel structure of the cargo area and adapted to support a first end of a support member. The second retention feature is formed in an opposing second panel structure of the cargo area and adapted to support an opposed second end of the support member. The first and second retention features are configured to inhibit movement of the support member in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle while also allowing the support member to move laterally past one of the first and second retention features into a space defined by a respective panel structure.

A tonneau cover that includes a first panel, a second panel, a hinge between the first panel and the second panel, and a torsion element between the first panel and the second panel. The torsion element applies an urging force onto one or both of the first panel and the second panel during movement of the first panel and/or the second panel about the hinge.
VEHICLE STORAGE ASSEMBLY
A storage assembly for a vehicle includes a first harness assembly configured to selectively engage said vehicle. The first harness assembly includes a first inner support strap and a second inner support strap coupled to the first inner support strap in a crossing configuration. An inner connector strap is coupled to at least one of the first inner support strap and the second inner support strap. A second harness assembly is configured to selectively engage said vehicle. The second harness assembly includes a first outer support strap and a second outer support strap coupled to the first outer support strap in a crossing configuration. An outer connector strap is coupled to at least one of the first outer support strap and the second outer support strap. The outer connector strap of the first harness assembly selectively couples with the inner connector strap of the second harness assembly.

Parcel shelf for sound management in vehicle
A parcel shelf for a vehicle includes a tray disposed between a trunk area and a cabin area of the vehicle and a soundproofing partition extending laterally between two distal portions of the tray such that the tray is partitioned into a forward region and a rearward region. The forward region includes openings and each of these openings is sealed to limit passage of sound from the trunk area into the cabin area through the forward region. The soundproofing partition is configured such that the sound from the trunk area reaching the rearward region is redirected along an extended sound pathway before entering the cabin area. A resulting sound level entering the cabin area is reduced below a defined threshold level.
