An adjusting device for providing a storage compartment having a storage space the volume of which is variable, including an adjustable part by means of which at least part of a wall delimiting the storage space is defined and which can be adjusted between an initial position and at least one adjustment position, the volume of the storage space in the initial position of the adjustable part being different from that in the adjustment position of the adjustable part. The adjusting device may include at least one link chain with a plurality of chain links and/or the adjustable part can be adjusted to an adjustment position in which an exterior face of the adjustable part, being opposite an interior face of the adjustable part facing the storage space, defines a support surface as part of a table formed by the adjustable part.

A center console for a vehicle, having a storage trough which extends over at least a predominant part of a length of the center console and which has a longitudinally extending side wall that laterally delimits a storage space of the storage trough. In order to optimize an ability of the center console to store articles, the center console has a holding unit which is arranged in the storage space of the storage trough and on the side wall and by use of which at least one article can be temporarily clamped between the holding unit and the side wall.

An aircraft seat includes a storage pocket provided on a rearward facing surface of the seat. The storage pocket includes a storage portion that is detachably mounted to the seat in order to form the storage pocket. The storage portion is formed of a flexible and/or deformable material and has a primary access opening in an upper region of the storage portion and a secondary access opening at a position below the primary opening. The primary and secondary access openings allow items to be passed into an interior enclosure of the storage pocket.

A mesh pocket for a vehicle includes a net member, a plurality of hook clips provided on a front face of an interior material, and a fixing member fixing part of the net member to the interior material. In a state in which corner parts of the net member are latched on the plurality of hook clips, part of a lower side of the net member is fixed to the interior material by the fixing member.
