ENDOSCOPE HOLDER
Provided is an endoscope holder capable of turning or swinging an endoscope inserted into a body with the endoscope fixed at a predetermined insertion position. An endoscope holder (1) includes a holder main body (3) having an insertion hole (2), gripping members (7a) and (7b) configured to pinch an endoscope E inserted into the insertion hole (2), first elastic members (12a) and (12b) configured to urge in a direction in which the gripping members (7a) and (7b) are separated from each other, a pressing member (13) configure to press the gripping member (7a) toward the gripping member (7b), a switching mechanism (17) configured to hold or release a pressing state, rollers (10) provided in gripping members (7a) and (7b), and a second elastic member (15) configured to swingably support the gripping member (7b).
STEERABLE ULTRASOUND ATTACHMENT FOR ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope add-on assembly adapted to be attached to a target endoscope. The assembly includes an ultrasound imaging sub-assembly, including a communications cable connected to an ultrasound imaging head and an imaging head movement sub-assembly, including a conduit, holding a tension member that is attached to the ultrasound imaging head. Further included are connective elements, adapted to permit the endoscope add-on assembly to be attached to the target endoscope. Finally, the imaging head movement sub-assembly is detachable from the ultrasound imaging sub-assembly, thereby permitting the imaging head movement subassembly to be processed separately from the ultrasound imaging sub-assembly, after use.
ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
An endoscope system includes: an endoscope including an insertion portion configured to be inserted into a subject; a distance measurement unit configured to measure a distance between the insertion portion and an object by transmitting and receiving millimeter waves or submillimeter waves; and a flexible waveguide that has one end that is connected to the distance measurement unit and another end that is exposed to outside from a distal end of the insertion portion, the flexible waveguide being configured to propagates the millimeter waves or submillimeter waves transmitted and received by the distance measurement unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE
A system and method for controlling a capsule endoscope is provided. The control method includes: measuring a magnetic field value of the environment in which the capsule endoscope is subjected; obtaining a critical magnetic field value for suspension of the capsule endoscope according to the magnetic field value; adjusting a traction force on the capsule endoscope according to the critical magnetic field value for suspension; and controlling the movement of the capsule endoscope in a horizontal and/or vertical direction, wherein the movement of the first magnet is controlled by moving the second magnet, and the capsule endoscope is in a quasi-suspended state as moving in the horizontal and/or vertical direction. The system and method reduce friction between the capsule endoscope and wall of the target area during movement by controlling the capsule endoscope in a quasi-suspended state, which makes the scanning of the target area more accurate.
Endoluminal sleeve gastroplasty
Devices and methods of endolumenal formation of gastric sleeves are described. Some embodiments allow templating of a gastric sleeve by a gastric bougie, exposing a selected amount of tissue for suturing access, while maintaining sufficient internal working space for suturing within the template lumen.
Endoscopic treatment tool
An endoscopic treatment tool, includes an elongated member having a distal end and a proximal end; a braid disposed between the distal end and the proximal end of the elongated member; a distal indicator disposed on the elongated member between a distal end and a proximal end of the braid, the distal indicator extending along a longitudinal axis of the elongated member; a proximal indicator disposed between the distal end and the proximal end of the braid on the elongated member at a more proximal side of the elongated member than the distal indicator, the proximal indicator extending along the longitudinal axis; and a pre-curved shape portion formed in a curved shape, wherein each of the distal indicator and the proximal indicator has a width less than half of an outer circumferential surface of the elongated member in a circumferential direction of the elongated member, respectively.

Apparatus, systems and methods for characterizing, imaging and/or modifying an object
Method and apparatus can be provided according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. For example, with at least one first section of an optical enclosure, it is possible to provide at least one first electro-magnetic radiation. In addition, with at least one second section provided within the enclosure, it is possible to cause, upon impact by the first radiation, a redirection of the first radiation to become at least one second radiation. Further, with at least one third section of the optical enclosure, it is possible to cause at least one second radiation to be provided to a tissue. For example, the redirection of the first radiation causes, at least approximately, a uniform optical illumination on of a surface of the tissue.
FLUOROPHORE IMAGING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR AN ENDOSCOPIC PROCEDURE
Fluorescent imaging systems for performing an endoscopic procedure, such as a retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedure may include a first light source for emitting light in the visible spectrum, or light in the near infrared (NIR) spectrum, or both. A light source bandpass filter may block the emitted light in the visible spectrum, or in the NIR spectrum, or both. A first sensor may be capable of detecting the light in the visible spectrum, or the light in the NIR spectrum, or both. A sensor bandpass filter may block the detected light in the visible spectrum, or in the NIR spectrum, or both. The first or a second light source, or the first or a second sensor, or combinations thereof, may be removably disposed on a duodenoscope.
