A rooftop mount device for connecting to a roof of a portable gym and for attaching exercise equipment is described. The portable gym is a portable container, such as a shipping container, having a top surface, or roof, to which the rooftop mount is attachable. The rooftop mount device includes connection members. The rooftop mount can also include one or more horizontal stabilization members and equipment attachment elements. The connection members are attached to a roof of the container. Exercise equipment is attached to the parts of the rooftop mount device. The rooftop mount provides proper height and stability for the bars, racks, stands, cages, rigs and riggings, and other exercise equipment that are attached to the container's roof so that the equipment does not move during use by an exerciser. Systems and kits are also described, which include a rooftop mount device, various exercise equipment, and a portable container.

The invention disclosed herein comprises an apparatus and method of use for holding, locking and transporting fishing rods on the exterior of a vehicle. The apparatus is easily and removably attached to a standard and commercially available trailer hitch. The invention is modular and adjustable; the number of rods carried can be changed, and the orientation in which the rods are mounted and transported can rotate between a vertical and horizontal configuration. Furthermore, the apparatus is constructed of lightweight, durable materials and can be readily disassembled for convenient storage.

Methods and apparatus for transportation of equipment, generally but not necessarily limited to sporting equipment. Generally, the apparatus described herein comprises a collapsible or foldable frame adapted for installation in the bed of a pickup truck or similar vehicle, where the apparatus can be unfolded to a “deployment configuration” in which elongated equipment may be securely attached to the apparatus for transportation. The apparatus generally comprises two opposing rails with bracing and equipment storage elements mounted in between, foldable at about a midpoint for easy of storage when not in use.

An articulated roller assembly for a bent bar comprising an articulated roller configured to spin relative to the bent bar. The bent bar generally comprises at least one bent portion and at least one straight portion. The articulated roller is designed to be fitted over the bent portion of the bar to be positioned on the at least one straight portion of the bar where it spins freely. The articulated rollers comprise a series of cylindrical rigid bushings surrounded by a flexible, deformable sleeve. The bushings have an inner diameter and length such that the articulated roller can be fitted over the bent portion of the bar. In some examples, the inner diameter and length of the bushings are a function of the outer diameter of the bent bar and the radius of the bend in the bent portion of the bar.

An articulated roller assembly for a bent bar comprising an articulated roller configured to spin relative to the bent bar. The bent bar generally comprises at least one bent portion and at least one straight portion. The articulated roller is designed to be fitted over the bent portion of the bar to be positioned on the at least one straight portion of the bar where it spins freely. The articulated rollers comprise a series of cylindrical rigid bushings surrounded by a flexible, deformable sleeve. According to some illustrative embodiments, a modular mounting system for mounting accessories on vehicles includes: a) a plurality of support members, each of said plurality of support members having i) a lower upright planar member configured to extend downward along a peripheral wall around a vehicle bed, ii) a cross planar member extending laterally from the lower upright planar member and configured to extend across the peripheral wall around the vehicle bed, and iii) an upper upright planar member extending upwardly from the cross planar member and configured to extend upwardly above a height of the peripheral wall around the vehicle bed; and b) at least one of: i) a removable cross-bar removably supported by a plurality of said upper upright planar members; and ii) a removable side panel removably supported by a plurality of said upright planar members.
