Device for mounting a unit, notably a radio, in a motor vehicle instrument panel compartment
To mount a unit in a compartment in a vehicle instrument panel including an opening for inserting the unit, the unit includes two tenons that are compressible in a heightwise direction and can be guided in two fixed parallel longitudinal lateral slideways that include an entry zone and a closed-end zone that is not as tall as the entry zone in which the tenon is compressed vertically. A facade surround is provided around the opening to collaborate in positioning and/or attachment of a face plate of the unit. The lateral slideways include two longitudinally separated parts, a first part secured to the facade surround and a second part not secured to the facade surround and held on a wall of the compartment of the instrument panel to lie substantially in longitudinal continuation of the first part.
ACCESSORY MOUNTING TRACK
An accessory mounting track includes a forward edge, a rearward edge, an upper surface, a lower surface, a first end region with a first end, a second end region with a second end, and an intermediate region positioned between the first and second end regions. A cross-section of the intermediate region includes an angular portion positioned on either side of a planar portion. The planar portion and the angular portions are delineated by an inflection point at a junction between the planar portion and each of the angled portions. A distance between the upper surface and the lower surface at the angular portions decreases as a distance from a centerline of the intermediate region increases. A distance between the forward edge and the rearward edge at the first and second end regions increases as a distance from the intermediate region increases.
QUICK RELEASE MIRROR MOUNT
An accessory adapter comprising a vehicle side, attachable to one or more hinges of a vehicle, and an accessory side, wherein the accessory side is configured to accept an accessory. Including a method of attaching the accessory adapter to a vehicle.
Camera arm of a camera-based mirror substitute system for a motor vehicle
A camera arm of a camera system for a vehicle comprises a first structural element connecting the camera arm to the vehicle and a second structural element comprises at least one camera. A fastening for the at least one camera offers protection against external damaging influences on the fastening, the camera arm, and on all elements, devices, and modules arranged thereon. The camera arm comprises a variable-volume fluid vessel, connecting the first and the second structural element to one another. At least one restoring element connects the first and the second structural element to one another. The restoring element exerts a force on the second structural element in the direction of the first structural element. The force is varied as a result of the amount of fluid in the fluid vessel, such that the second structural element is moved relative to the first structural element by the varying force.
VEHICLE
A vehicle shown herein is a side by side powersports vehicle having a utility bed recessed in the rear body portion below an upper surface, the utility bed forming a stepped portion relative to the rear body portion and having a maximum lateral width greater than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, and a minimum width less than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, whereby a spare wheel may be stored on the stepped portion of the utility bed. As shown herein, the utility bed is defined as a removable tub, which can be removed from the rear body portion. The utility bed has defined troughs in a floor thereof angled rearwardly wherein the utility bed has drains which drain away from any heat source of the vehicle. The seats of the vehicle allow longitudinal movement and tilt capability.
Camera holder and method of attaching a camera holder
According to one embodiment, a camera holder has a universal head, a fixing member, a fall prevention member, and a coupling member. A camera is attached to the universal head. The universal head is able to adjust a tilting angle of the camera. The fixing member is detachably adsorbed to a vehicle body. The fixing member fixes the universal head to the vehicle body such that a horizontal image capturing angle of the camera attached to the universal head is able to be adjusted. The fall prevention member has an adsorption portion. The adsorption portion is detachably attached to a place spaced apart from an attachment place of the fixing member and on an upper surface of the vehicle body in front of the fixing member. A coupling member causes the fixing member and the fall prevention member to be coupled to each other.
