Collapsible Door Enclosure
In one aspect, this document features an enclosure for housing an acoustic transducer. The enclosure is configured to be disposed in a vehicle between an inner panel and an outer panel of the vehicle, the inner panel being closer to an interior of the vehicle than the outer panel. The enclosure includes a structure enclosing an acoustic volume for the acoustic transducer, the structure having multiple segments that include a first segment configured to be attached to the inner panel, and two or more subsequent segments disposed at increasing distances from the first segment towards the outer panel. Each of the multiple segments is connected to at least one other of the multiple segments by an interface that is configured to allow the corresponding segments to separate upon an impact, thereby allowing one or more of the multiple segments to collapse into corresponding adjacent segments.
VIBRATION ABSORPTION DEVICE FOR A HEAD-UP DISPLAY DRIVING MODULE
A vibration absorption device for a head-up display driving module, the device comprising: a power generation unit disposed at one end of the driving module and configured to generate rotational force using a motor fixed through a motor mount; and a cantilever-type dynamic absorber coupled to opposite ends of the motor mount to absorb vibration of the power generation unit.
MOTOR VEHICLE DRAWER ASSEMBLY
A motor vehicle drawer assembly is disclosed having a slideable drawer and a moveable plate housed in a casing. The drawer and the plate both have overlying compressible members used to restrain from movement an item placed in the drawer when the drawer is in a closed position. Movement of the drawer to the closed position causes the plate to move towards the drawer to clamp any item resting on the drawer thereby restraining movement of the item but not until the drawer approaches the closed position. The use of a clamping mechanism that only allows for movement of the plate towards the drawer when the drawer approaches the closed position prevents the plate from interfering with stowing of the item.
Magnetic Quick Mounting Unit For Construction Machines, Method, And Construction Machine Having Such A Quick Mounting Unit
The present invention relates to a magnetic quick mounting unit for construction machines, particularly road pavers, having a positioning mark configured for permanent attachment to a construction machine, an attachment device which can be magnetically attached on the positioning mark, an alignment mark arranged on the attachment device and indicating the alignment of the attachment device, and an alignment aid arranged on the positioning mark, the alignment mark and the alignment aid being configured such that the alignment of the attachment device relative to the construction machine can be read from the relative position of the alignment mark to the alignment aid when the attachment device has been attached on the positioning mark. The present invention further relates to a method for magnetic quick-mounting of an attachment device, particularly a camera, to a construction machine, particularly a road paver, comprising the steps of: attaching a positioning mark with an alignment aid on the construction machine; attaching an alignment mark on the attachment device; magnetically attaching the attachment device on the positioning mark; and aligning the attachment device by means of the relative positions of the alignment aid and the alignment mark. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a construction machine having such a magnetic quick mounting unit.
Universally positional article mounting assemblies and methods
Universally positional article mounting assemblies in some embodiments include a mounting tab having a generally flat or planar tab panel including an article mount edge; a tab insert end opposite the article mount edge; a pair of tab side edges extending from the article mount edge to the tab insert end; a first panel surface; and a second panel surface; a substantially universally manipulatable article stem carried by the article mount edge of the tab panel, the article stem having an elongated article stem axis; and at least one article carried by the article stem, the at least one article disposed within an article plane and the article plane normally generally perpendicular to the article stem axis of the article stem.
Universally positional article mounting assemblies and methods
Universally positional article mounting assemblies include a mounting tab having a generally flat or planar tab panel including an article mount edge, a tab insert end opposite the article mount edge, a pair of tab side edges extending from the article mount edge to the tab insert end, a first panel surface; and a second panel surface, a universally manipulatable article stem carried by the article mount edge of the tab panel and at least one article carried by the article stem. Universally positional article mounting methods are also disclosed.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT FOR SECURING A UNIT MOUNT AND A STABILIZER MOUNT
A fastening arrangement for securing a unit mount and a stabilizer mount to a vehicle component of a motor vehicle includes a bearing seat, which is provided on a side of the vehicle component, and a fastening element, which is adapted for detachable connection to the vehicle component and supporting the stabilizer mount, with the unit mount being arranged between the bearing seat and the fastening element.
Accessory mounting system for laminated glass windshield
An accessory mounting system for a laminated glass windshield includes first and second mating plates securable in a scallop in the laminated glass windshield. Each of the mating plates includes an indentation on an inside surface thereof, where the indentations of the first and second mating plates define a pocket. A stiffening plate is disposed in the pocket, and a fastener secures the first and second mating plates and the stiffening plate together. The first and second mating plates and the stiffening plate include an opening for securing a windshield accessory.
CONFIGURABLE COMMUNICATIONS MODULE WITH REPLACEABLE NETWORK ACCESS DEVICE
A system for providing telematics is provided that includes a communications unit having host circuitry coupled by an interface to at least one removable communications card, the interface includes a break line that enables disconnection of the at least one removable communications card from the host circuitry.
Vehicle
A vehicle shown herein is a side by side powersports vehicle having a utility bed recessed in the rear body portion below an upper surface, the utility bed forming a stepped portion relative to the rear body portion and having a maximum lateral width greater than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, and a minimum width less than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, whereby a spare wheel may be stored on the stepped portion of the utility bed. As shown herein, the utility bed is defined as a removable tub, which can be removed from the rear body portion. The utility bed has defined troughs in a floor thereof angled rearwardly wherein the utility bed has drains which drain away from any heat source of the vehicle. The seats of the vehicle allow longitudinal movement and tilt capability.
