ANTI-THEFT STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
An anti-theft structure for an electronic control unit which includes an electronic control unit including assembly brackets mounted on both sides thereof and connector mounting grooves formed in an upper portion thereof to be spaced apart from each other; connectors coupled to the connector mounting grooves, and including connector coupling portions therein; and a safety bracket including side coupling portions on both ends of the safety bracket, the side coupling portions being engaged with assembly brackets, and bracket coupling portions corresponding to the connector coupling portions and the bracket coupling portions being engaged with the connector coupling portions.
SECUREMENT DEVICE FOR USE IN VEHICLES
A securement device for use in a vehicle. The device includes a retainer for holding or storing an object such as a firearm. The device utilizes an inflatable pillow to hold the device in position in the vehicle. It also includes an attachment that couples to the retainer and allows for adjustment of the orientation of the retainer.
Security mounting bracket device for a crossbar
Provided herein is a security mounting bracket device that can be used to securely connect a crossbar to a mounted object. The device is shaped to form a contoured fit with the crossbar and adapted for use with a security nut and bolt rendering both nut and bolt unexposed outside of the device and inaccessible to tools that may be used to forcibly remove the mounted object. The security mounting bracket device can be used as an antitheft device as a security socket is required to remove the nut from the security mounting bracket. The contoured fit reduces the movement of the crossbar within the security mounting bracket device therefore reducing vibrationally induced failure of the mount and loss of mounted object. The security mounting bracket device smooth edges and unexposed nut and bolt also make it a safer bracket for the user in assembly. The size and contour of the security mounting bracket device can be customized to connect any shape of a crossbar to a mounted object such as a guide rail attached to a platform or to a platform directly. The crossbar can be mounted perpendicularly or at other angles, to the security mounting bracket device or and can be used to connect a plurality of mounted objects for example platforms for tents or cargo containers.

Catalytic Converter Guard System
Catalytic converter guard systems and related methods are provided for inhibiting access to a catalytic converter on a motor vehicle. The catalytic converter guard can include a set of mounting brackets and a cage. The set of mounting brackets can be coupled to a frame rail of the motor vehicle to at least partly surround the catalytic converter with the cage.
Three-axis shackle assembly for mounted object and method for using same
Disclosed is shackle assembly that includes a first frame member having a first pair of spaced-apart arm portions and a first base portion connecting the first arm portions to one another and a first securing member extending from one of the first arm portions to the other of the first arm portions, and a second frame member having a second pair of spaced-apart arm portions and a second base portion connecting the second arm portions to one another, where the first securing member is movable between a first position in which the second pair of arm portions are connected by the first securing member and a second position in which the second pair of arm portions are not connected by the first securing member.
Chain retention apparatus
A chain retention device includes a track member configured to be mounted on an external surface of a vehicle. The track member includes at least two guide surfaces which extend along the track member and a first set of rollers mounted on the track member between the at least two guide surfaces. The chain retention device also includes an elongated arm including a second set of rollers and one or more chain support surfaces. The elongated arm is positioned between the at least two guide surfaces such that the second set of rollers is in contact with the track member, and the first set of rollers is in contact with the elongated arm.
Mounting system for mounting an electronic device on a vehicle
A handle is arranged for controlling the latch to engage or disengage the keeper. The handle is positioned in a recess of the removable electronic device. A panel or cover covers the handle. The cover has one or more retainers associated with a first end. An opening is associated with a second end opposite the first end. A rotatable lock is secured in the opening, where in a locked state the rotatable lock has a lock latch that engages a lock recess or lock keep in the recess to secure the panel to prevent access to the handle.
Systems and methods for securing goods using a seat belt receptacle of a vehicle
A locking device that locks to a seatbelt buckle, and covers the buckle release mechanism so that the tongue cannot be released from the buckle until the locking device is unlocked and removed.
AUTOMOTIVE TRAY ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to an automotive tray arrangement. The tray arrangement includes a load-bearing tray. At least one toolbox is located beneath a tail of the tray. Advantageously, tools located in the toolbox can be readily located during an emergency.
