Mounting structure for truck box side
A vehicle includes a box, a plate and a compartment. The box is attached to a cab at a headboard and includes two sidewalls extending perpendicularly from the headboard and a bed. The plate is secured to either of the sidewalls and defines a groove keyed to receive a cleat configured to lock within the groove. The compartment is locked to the sidewall via the cleat and has an insert configured to slide out of the compartment, parallel to the sidewall on a track and roller. The insert includes a lock to maintain a position of the insert within the compartment.
Universal electronics lock
A universal electronics lock and lock kit has an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. The outer cylinder slidingly fits over the inner cylinder. The outer cylinder is equipped with a lock cylinder that has an movable latch. When the latch is in one position, it clears an inwardly-directed ridge defined within the inner cylinder. The lock is then in the unlocked position. When the latch is in a second position when rotated by a turning of a key, the latch is disposed behind a portion of the ridge and the lock is in the locked position. The universal electronics lock of the present invention allows rotation of the cylinders about a fastener, thus making the lock difficult to cut or saw through. In the lock kit, a plurality of fasteners and spacers are provided to adjust for use with electronics from different manufacturers.

System, enclosure and method for deployment of audio visual equipment from a vehicle as a base
A system for deployment of audio and/or visual components from a vehicle as a base, the system comprising a housing configured to be held during transport in the vehicle, a movable lid attached to the housing, one or more arms attached to the housing and configured: (i) to be enclosed within the housing when the lid is closed, and (ii) to mechanically deploy to a position outside of the housing by moving out of the housing when the lid is open. The system may further include one or more speakers mounted on or embedded within the one or more arms, and a processor configured to automatically: (i) open the lid, and (ii) mechanically deploy the one or more arms.
UNIVERSAL ELECTRONICS LOCK
A universal electronics lock has an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. The outer cylinder slidingly fits over the inner cylinder. The outer cylinder is equipped with a lock cylinder that has an axially-movable latch. When the latch is in one position, it clears an inwardly-directed ridge defined within the inner cylinder. The lock is then in the unlocked position. When the latch is in a second position when rotated by a turning of a key, the latch is disposed behind a portion of the ridge and the lock is in the locked position. The universal electronics lock of the present invention allows rotation about a fastener, thus making the lock difficult to cut or saw through.

CHAIN RETENTION APPARATUS
A chain retention device includes a track member configured to be mounted on an external surface of a vehicle. The track member includes at least two guide surfaces which extend along the track member and a first set of rollers mounted on the track member between the at least two guide surfaces. The chain retention device also includes an elongated arm including a second set of rollers and one or more chain support surfaces. The elongated arm is positioned between the at least two guide surfaces such that the second set of rollers is in contact with the track member, and the first set of rollers is in contact with the elongated arm.
STORAGE CABINETS AND STORAGE CABINET SYSTEMS FOR AFTERMARKET INSTALLATION IN A TAILGATE OF A VEHICLE AND RELATED METHODS
Apparatuses and systems of storage for incorporation into a tailgate of a vehicle and related methods are provided herein. A storage cabinet for securing in a tailgate of a vehicle can include a cabinet body having a compartment structure having one or more compartment cavities that open on a face side of the compartment structure within the compartment structure and an exterior cabinet wall structure securable to the compartment structure and configured to form at least a front face of the cabinet body. The compartment structure of the cabinet body can be configured to reside within an opening of the tailgate of the vehicle. The storage cabinet can include a cabinet door configured to attach the cabinet wall structure to close the one or more compartment cavities in the compartment structure.
SECURITY MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT
A security mounting arrangement can include a mounting bracket and a shielding bracket. The mounting bracket can have a first aperture and a second aperture. The shielding bracket can be selectively engageable with the mounting bracket and have a third aperture aligned with the first aperture when the mounting bracket and the shielding bracket are engaged with one another. A passageway extending along an axis can be defined by the first aperture and the third aperture. The passageway can have a first portion with a first diameter, a second portion with a second diameter, and a third portion with a third diameter positioned between the first portion and the second portion along the axis. The third diameter can be greater than the first diameter and the second diameter.
