A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional structure including: preparing a first structure including a fixing face; fixing a plastic layer to the fixing face of the first structure; preparing a conductive wire; and operating an ultrasonic head to apply ultrasonic waves to the conductive wire and to press the conductive wire against the plastic layer, and thereby partly embedding the conductive wire into the plastic layer.

EMBLEM FOR STEERING WHEEL

The emblem for a steering wheel includes: a rim of the steering wheel; the rim including a coupling groove formed in an outer surface thereof; an emblem bracket coupled into the coupling groove; and an emblem assembly including an emblem body, an emblem logo, and a logo portion formed on the emblem logo, the emblem assembly fastened into the emblem bracket in a state in which the logo portion is exposed from a surface of the emblem body.

Emblem structure

The present disclosure discloses an emblem structure in which an emblem is coupled to a part in an integral form, thereby minimizing the amount of protrusion and an image is implemented in a distorted form, and advancing the quality of a product. The emblem structure includes a base layer, an image layer disposed on an outer surface of the base layer or to be spaced apart from the outer surface, and a transparent layer deposited on the base layer to cover the image layer. The transparent layer is configured such that light is transmitted and refracted and that the light reflected by the base layer and the image layer is lost, thereby improving visual recognition of the image layer.

AIRBAG COVER STRUCTURE FOR STEERING WHEEL

An airbag cover structure for a steering wheel. The airbag cover structure with a lighting emblem includes: a mounting plate with an airbag cushion; an inner cover including an inner locking portion, a storage portion, and an inner hinge portion; an outer cover including an outer locking portion, an indicating portion, and an outer hinge portion; and an absorption area provided on the inner hinge portion of the inner cover, and configured to concentrate and absorb stress generated by a force that unfolds a bent portion of the outer hinge portion during deployment of the airbag cushion.

Vehicle cruise control sensor-cover and method of manufacturing the same

The present disclosure relates to a cover fastening system for a vehicle external surface comprising: a cover having at least one locking pin arranged on an inner surface of the cover, wherein the at least one locking pin has at least one protrusion; a shell, wherein the shell is mechanically engaged within a slot on a vehicle surface, and wherein the locking pin cooperates with the inner surface of the shell to retain the cover; and a cover fastening method for a vehicle surface.

LASER ABLATED PAINT OVER SURFACE TREATED CHROME
20220161293 · 2022-05-26 ·

A system and method of creating a decorative component having multiple surface finishes includes providing a substrate with a metal surface layer and treating the metal surface layer to remove oxidation, and applying a coating or paint layer over at least a portion of the treated metal surface layer. The paint layer is removed via laser ablation to define a metal-paint interface. The metal-paint interface created by laser ablation applied to paint over treated metal is free from adhesion failure. The workpiece created includes multiple surfaces having complex shapes and features, and may be applied to a variety of surfaces. Multiple surface finishes are therefore created on a single part without the need for assembly of separate parts, with a robust interface between contrasting surface appearances.

BACKLIT RADAR PROTECTION DEVICE

A device for protecting a motor vehicle radar is provided. The device includes a body formed from a material that is transparent to radar waves and visible light, a support that is opaque to light and transparent to radar waves, and a light element arranged between the support and the body, an air cavity being provided between the support and the body, the support and the body being assembled together at their edges, characterized in that the thickness of the cavity is between ½ the radar wavelength and 12 times the radar wavelength.

Emblem dovetail snap feature

An emblem assembly includes a body of a polymeric material. A polymeric material extending portion is homogeneously connected to the body. The extending portion has a dove-tail shaped connector outwardly and homogenously extending from the extending portion. The dove-tail shaped connector defines a V-shape having a first wing and a second wing. An attachment member includes a first recessed pocket receiving the first wing and a second recessed pocket receiving the second wing to frictionally couple the attachment member to the extending portion.
