To provide an emblem having a high engagement force and a cover body for an airbag apparatus provided with the emblem by means of a simple configuration. Emblem body has pin. Pin has shaft section provided with rib and enlargement section formed to be enlarged on the distal end side of shaft section. Pin is inserted through an opening section formed in a cover main body section. Back plate has hole section into which pin is inserted. Back plate has elastic piece section formed at the inner edge of hole section and elastically deformable in the insertion/removal direction of pin with respect to hole section. Elastic piece section abuts against rib of shaft section.
MULTIPURPOSE ORNAMENT DEVICE AND ATTACHMENT MECHANISM
An ornament including an ornament body and an attachment assembly for attaching the ornament body to other structures is provided. In some embodiments, the ornament body includes a two-dimensional or three-dimensional representation of a human uterus and associated organs. The attachment assembly may be adapted to attach the ornament body to the bumper hitch of an automobile or truck, to the top of an automobile radio antenna, to a wall, and/or to other structures. The ornament may also be adapted to rest on a surface such as a shelf or desktop.
Front fascia for a vehicle
A front fascia for a vehicle includes an upper fascia member, a lower fascia member, a connection member, and a temporary connection member. The connection member extends between the upper fascia member and the lower fascia member. The temporary connection member extends between the upper fascia member and the lower fascia member. The temporary connection member is configured to be removable prior to installation of the front fascia to the vehicle.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AUTOMOTIVE ORNAMENT
A method for manufacturing an automotive ornament is provided, and the method includes following steps. A light-transmitting element is provided. At least one opening running through at least part of the light-transmitting element is formed. A sputtering layer is formed by a sputtering process using a sputtering device, where the sputtering layer is located in the at least one opening to form an ornament unit.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND LIGHT GUIDE FOR ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY
A trim panel assembly includes a printed foil extending for a first area, a printed circuit board disposed overtop the foil, the printed circuit board extending for a second area smaller than the first area, and a light guide disposed overtop the printed circuit board and having a perimeter. The perimeter is inset from the printed foil, and surrounds the printed circuit board, forming a sealed interface with the printed foil. At least a portion of the perimeter of the light guide is beveled. A reflector is disposed overtop the light guide. In an electronic assembly the reflector, the light guide, the printed circuit board, and the printed foil are disposed at least partially in a cavity of a molded support panel. The molded support panel is substantially planar, and a semi-transparent material is overmolded directly onto and overtop the electronic assembly and the molded support panel.
Emblem Retainer
Disclosed are systems and methods for retaining system coupling a component to a panel via a retainer. The retainer can couple a component with panels of different thicknesses. The retainer comprising a body portion and at least one panel-engagement feature coupled to the body portion. The body portion having a pair of legs spaced apart and flexibly connected to one another to define a channel. The channel is sized and shaped to receive a tower associated with the component. The at least one panel-engagement feature is coupled to one of the pair of legs to engages an opening of a panel having a thickness ranging from a first thickness (T.sub.1) to a second thickness (T.sub.2) that is greater than the first thickness (T.sub.1).
Illuminating emblem device and methods of manufacture and use
Described herein includes embodiments of an illuminating emblem device that is configured to be coupled to a vehicle and/or device. Some implementations of the illuminating emblem device include a light assembly that is configured to provide a uniform (or substantially uniform) distribution of light along a front housing part or front panel of the illuminating emblem. For example, in some implementations, the illuminating emblem device can include a light diffusing filler that diffuses light emitted from the light assembly to assist with uniformly distributing light emitted through the front housing part. Various other embodiments of the illuminating emblem device and associated methods of manufacturing are described.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE COMPONENT WITH IMAGE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
A structural panel for a recreational vehicle includes a plurality of layers laminated together to form a lamination. The lamination forms an outer surface of the structural panel, which is configured to form a sidewall, a ceiling, or a floor of the recreational vehicle when mounted in the recreational vehicle relative to the vehicle chassis. The structural panel further includes an image that is formed on or in one of the plurality of layers in or internal to the structural panel and which is visible at the outer surface. The image is in a location that is in a known fixed registry with a structural reference, such as the outer perimeter, of the structural panel prior to the panel being mounted in the recreational vehicle wherein the location of the image is known relative to the structural reference of the structural panel.
DECORATIVE MEMBER
To provide a decorative member that has a small transmission loss of a millimeter wave and excellent metallic luster.
The decorative member includes a base material made of a synthetic resin and a film body that made of an agglomeration of inorganic fine particles having at least a metal surface. An attenuation rate when a millimeter wave having a frequency of 18 to 300 GHz transmits is 0.001 to 2 dB, and an L* value (brightness) is 45 to 95.
LIGHT DEVICE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The light device of a motor vehicle comprises a light unit (4) and a cover (2). The light unit (4) comprises a light guide (7) with a front surface (8) for the exit of light rays (10) from the light guide (7) situated opposite the cover (2), a rear surface (9) comprising unbinding elements (73) configured to reflect light rays (10) towards the front surface (8), and at least one binding surface (71) to bind light rays (10) emitted by the light source (6) associated with the binding surface (71) to the light guide (7).
