20210339669 · 2021-11-04 ·

A method for attaching lining elements to a structure exposed to wear using an interface engagement fastening arrangement is disclosed. The method involves the steps of attaching strips or sheets provided with a first part of the interface engagement fastening arrangement to a mounting surface of the structure; providing lining elements to the exposed first part of the interface engagement fastening arrangement so that these parts are inter-engaged. By this engagement of the first and second parts of the interface engagement fastening arrangement, the aimed-at lining element mounting is obtained.

Vehicle sill flap

Vehicle tailgate assembly that includes a sill flap and tailgate, where the sill flap has rollers that contact the tailgate while the sill flap and tailgate are opened or closed. The sill flap thus maintains rolling contact with the tailgate during opening and closing operations. In embodiments of the disclosure, the tailgate opens to leave a gap between the edge of the vehicle bed and the edge of the tailgate, and the sill flap is pivoted into this gap. While being pivoted into this open position, the sill flap rollers rotatably contact the tailgate, so that the sill flap maintains rolling contact with the tailgate rather than frictional contact therewith. This prevents damage to the sill flap and tailgate when opened and closed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A TRUCK BED DIVIDER
20230136294 · 2023-05-04 ·

A divider body for a vehicle can include first and second body members. A first protruded area can be formed in an internal surface of the first body member and mating area can be formed in an internal surface of the second body member. The mating area can be opposite the first protruded area in a transverse direction. An attachment element can be transversely aligned with the first protruded area. The attachment element can be configured to secure an external accessory relative to the divider body. The first and second body members can form an internal volume therebetween and the first protruded area and the mating area can be in contact so that the internal volume surrounds an engagement of the first protruded area and the mating area.
