Truck body assembly and methods of making and using same
An assembly for utility truck bodies having metal and/or composite reinforcement(s) and/or foam reinforcements and/or honeycomb reinforcement/and/or wood reinforcements encapsulated within a thermoformed thermoplastic, or thermoset or fiber-reinforced thermoset walking surface floor structure of the truck bed assembly or other composite floor structure with attachable components and junctions, e.g., sidepack(s), and methods of making the same are provided.
VEHICLE CARGO AREA ASSEMBLY
A vehicle cargo area assembly includes a cargo area structure, a tailgate structure and a flexible cover assembly. The tailgate structure is supported to the cargo bed structure for pivotal movement with respect thereto between a closed orientation and an open orientation. The flexible cover assembly has a first end attached to the cargo area structure and a second end attached to the tailgate structure. The flexible cover assembly covers a gap defined between the cargo area structure and the tailgate structure with the tailgate structure in the open orientation.

Cargo storage assembly
Methods, apparatuses, and systems are described for a cargo storage assembly. The system includes a first panel, a second panel, an overlap, and a hinge. The hinge is configured to rotate the second panel to a vertical orientation with respect to the first panel to expose an underfloor compartment. The first panel has a groove proximate to the second panel that extends along a top surface of the first panel. The second panel has a protrusion proximate to the first panel that extends along a bottom surface of the second panel. The protrusion of the second panel corresponds in size to the groove of the first panel. The overlap is formed between the groove and the protrusion with the first panel and the second panel in a horizontal configuration.
Sandwich-Type, Composite Component Having a Sprayed Backside Protective Coating
A sandwich-type, composite component having a sprayed backside protective coating is provided. The component includes a first outer layer having an outer surface, a second outer layer and a core positioned between and bonded to the outer layers and having a plurality of cavities. The protective coating is integrally formed from an elastomeric material. The material is sprayed to form the coating and the coating is bonded to the outer surface by curing. The component may be a vehicle interior component such as a vehicle load floor component.
Insertion floor for covering a storage or luggage compartment, preferably in a motor vehicle
An insertion floor is provided for covering a storage or luggage compartment, preferably in a motor vehicle, wherein the insertion floor is pivotably supported on a holder by locking hinges and wherein the locking hinges hold the insertion floor at least in a position in which the storage or luggage is accessible. In order to create such an insertion floor that can be economically produced, consists of few individual parts, and also can be installed and removed quickly and easily by the user, the insertion floor can be removed from the holder.
Weighted bed liner
A vehicle bed liner for providing additional weight to a vehicle includes a support layer including a base material having a thickness, where the thickness of the base material is substantially constant across the entirety of the base material, a weight-receiving compartment within the support layer, and a weight-storing article within the weight-receiving compartment adapted to receive a plurality of weight-providing articles, wherein the plurality of weight-providing articles are capable of being positioned in the weight-storing article to thereby provide additional weight to a vehicle.

REINFORCING INSERT WITH THROUGH ORIFICES
A reinforcing element for a bodywork part made from plastic, forming an insert capable of being at least partially overmolded in the bodywork part, the reinforcing element including a wall delimited by a contour, the wall including an orifice that passes all the way through the thickness of the wall of the reinforcing element, which orifice is a notch emerging at the contour, or a blind orifice at the contour, located, at least in part, in an area of the contour that extends over 40 mm in width from the wall.
TAILGATE PAD
A tailgate pad. The tailgate pad includes a front side. The tailgate pad also includes a back side. The tailgate pad further includes a fold out panel coupled with the front side, the fold out panel to wrap about at least a portion of a wheel of a vehicle.
