There are included: a switch member 13; a connector part 15 connected to the switch member 13; and a casing 14 enclosing the connector part 15, wherein in a state of being attached to a vehicle, an opening end part 14d of an outer circumferential part 14a of the casing 14 includes an end face 21 inclined relative to a direction of gravity G or a curved surface inclined relative to the direction of gravity.
MODULAR ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CARRIER FOR VEHICLE LATCH AND VEHICLE LATCH WITH MODULAR ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CARRIER
A modular electrical circuit carrier (ECC) configured to be directly secured to an exterior surface of a vehicle latch housing, the modular electrical circuit carrier (ECC) including: a housing; a printed circuit board located within the housing, the printed circuit board having a connector configured for securement with a wire harness connector and a series of connectors, wherein the printed circuit board includes a microprocessor capable of operating as a latch controller, wherein the housing and the series of connectors are configured for direct securement to the exterior surface of the vehicle latch housing.
SWITCH STRUCTURE
The switch structure provided in a control device of a vehicle ceiling part comprises a cover that is openable and closable between a closed position to cover a switch and an opened position to open the switch, and in the cover, a region that covers an operation surface of an operation element of the switch in at least the closed position is formed of a member that transmits light, and the cover has a top surface comprising an inclined portion inclined at an upward gradient from a vehicle front toward a vehicle rear in the closed position.
Control systems for an electric drive assembly of a hatch of a motor vehicle
A control system for an electric drive assembly of a hatch of a motor vehicle includes a drive assembly configured to reposition a hatch in motorized manner in a time-controlled motion process within a predetermined set hatch-motion time (t.sub.soll) over a predetermined set hatch displacement (s.sub.soll). The control system further includes a regulating unit that regulates the drive assembly to a set hatch speed (v.sub.soll) during the motion process. Wherein, in a motion routine during the motion process, the control system ascertains a residual remaining hatch-motion time (t.sub.Rest) continuously and computes the set hatch speed (v.sub.soll) continuously in accordance with a computation rule on the basis of the remaining hatch-motion time (t.sub.Rest) and supplies the hatch speed to the regulating unit.
Switching circuit, failure detection method therefor, and control apparatus
A switching circuit includes: an input/output terminal section including four SW terminals; lines connecting between these terminals; switches disposed in paths of the respective lines; and diodes disposed in the paths of the respective lines. The switches are single-pole switches. The diodes are connected to normally closed terminals of the switches, respectively.
ROTARY CONTROL DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A rotary control device for a vehicle may include a user interface surface, in particular a knob, that is embodied to rotate with respect to a housing of the device around a rotational axis of the device, further comprising a sensor unit for monitoring the orientation and/or rotational movement of the user interface surface with respect to the housing, a processing unit, and a communications interface for transmitting control signals according to an output from the processing unit, said output being generated by the processing unit on the basis of sensor data from the sensor unit.
Motor vehicle closure system with electronic latch and handle having two-pin handle switch
An electronic latch for a motor vehicle closure system with an electronic control circuit including a handle switch reading circuit for a two-pin handle switch and a method of operating the handle switch reading circuit are disclosed. The electronic control circuit includes a control unit. The handle switch reading circuit is controlled by the control unit for coupling with a handle switch subassembly. The handle switch reading circuit is adapted to supply an AC voltage to the handle switch subassembly and produce an output voltage waveform corresponding to the charging and discharging of a handle capacitor of the handle switch subassembly and in response to a handle switch of the handle switch subassembly being operated. The handle switch reading circuit determines a position of the handle switch and presence of faults in the handle switch reading circuit and the handle switch subassembly based on the output voltage waveform.
IN-VEHICLE RELAY DEVICE, CONTROL PROGRAM, AND MEMORY SHARING METHOD
An in-vehicle relay device to which a plurality of communication lines installed in a vehicle are connectable performs processing for relaying communication between the communication lines, the device includes: a processor that includes an acquisition unit that acquires an update program for updating a program executed by an in-vehicle device connected to one of the communication lines and an update processing unit that performs processing for updating a program by transmitting an update program acquired by the acquisition unit to the in-vehicle device; a communication IC that performs, by executing a communication program, processing relating to communication performed via the communication lines; and a shared memory that is accessible by the processor and the communication IC, wherein an update program acquired by the acquisition unit of the processor and the communication program executed by the communication IC are stored in the shared memory.
Tail lamp back door/tailgate activation switch
A system for controlling a function of a vehicle by activation of a vehicle button includes a vehicle component configured to receive a signal and to perform an electrical or mechanical function in response to receiving the signal. The system further includes a physical structure located on an exterior of the vehicle and having an integrated button such that at least one of manual actuation of or physical proximity to the physical structure initiates a button selection event. The system further includes an electronic control unit (ECU) coupled to the vehicle component and to the integrated button and configured to identify the button selection event and to transmit the signal to the vehicle component in response to identifying the button selection event to cause the vehicle component to perform the electrical or mechanical function.
