ROTARY CONTROL DEVICE
The invention relates to a rotary control device (1) for a vehicle comprising a user interface surface (3), in particular a knob, that is embodied to rotate with respect to a housing (5) of the device (1) around a rotational axis (7) of the device (1), further comprising a sensor unit (9) for monitoring the orientation and/or rotational movement of the user interface surface (3) with respect to the housing (5), a processing unit (11), and a communications interface (13) for transmitting control signals (Ts) according to an output (Op) from the processing unit (11), said output (Op) being generated by the processing unit (11) on the basis of sensor data (Ds) from the sensor unit (9).
PADDLE SWITCH SYSTEM
A paddle switch system comprises a housing, a paddle having a pivot member pivotally disposed in the housing for operating an electrical switch within the housing in response to a force on the paddle, a cover coupled to the housing wherein the housing and the cover partially enclose the paddle, and a vibration reduction mechanism disposed in the housing proximate the pivot member of the paddle. The electrical switch comprises a dome switch and the paddle is disposed in the housing to partially preload the dome switch.
Rocker switch element for motor vehicles with protection against unwanted actuation
A rocker switching control element for electrical sliding roofs on a vehicle overhead panel has an actuation rocker formed as a switch with switching positions and is arranged on a substantially planar control panel. The actuation rocker is recessed such that it does not project beyond the panel edge region. The transition between the panel edge region and the actuation rocker is formed with the panel edge region forming over a first width a goblet-like edge set back by a first depth, and an adjoining edge, separated by a gap of width, of the actuation rocker, which edge is recessed by more than the first depth in the non-actuated state and set further back continuously over a second width by a second depth. The recess is shaped overall such that inadvertent actuation of the actuation rocker by an object significantly larger than a human finger is prevented.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE
Provided is a highly reliable electronic control device which has not only an effect of reducing costs but also an effect of facilitating a manufacturing process. To include a control board; a connector including a terminal connected to the control board; and a housing case to which the control board and the connector are fixed. The control board has a part sealed with a sealing resin. The connector is disposed at a position facing another part of the control board, being isolated from the sealing resin by the control board and the housing case.
Knob structure of user interface device
Disclosed herein a user interface device includes a hinge configured to slide in a first direction along a rail extending in the first direction; and a knob coupled to the hinge to slide in the first direction and configured to detect a rotation input; wherein the knob includes a knob base coupled to the hinge, a bearing including a first member coupled to the knob base and a second member rotatable about a rotation axis with respect to the first member, and a knob body coupled to the second member and configured to rotate with respect to the knob base, wherein the knob body is detachably coupled to the second member.
Wire harness
A wire harness includes a trunk line section including a power line for power supply as a wiring body wired in a vehicle, a distributor that is connected to the trunk line section and distributes electric power from a power supply mounted on the vehicle to an appliance to be connected, and a ground plate for grounding buried in a resin flooring material of the vehicle separately from the trunk line section. Thus, with the wire harness, a wiring path can be simplified by combining the trunk line section, the distributor, and the ground plate.
Electric current distribution system for a vehicle
An electrical junction box includes a plurality of relays, a relay carrier, and a lead frame including connecting sections. Each relay includes electrical connection pins enabling the relay to be plugged into the relay carrier, thereby enabling electrical connection to the lead frame. Each relay includes a communication bus interface that is connected to a control pin of the relay. The lead frame includes a section forming a communication bus. The control pins of the relays are electrically connected to the section forming the communication bus when the relays are plugged into the relay carrier.
INPUT DEVICE
An input device is capable of providing input to various electronic devices.
The input device includes: an manipulation unit; a substrate; a tilting mechanism; and a detector. The manipulation unit includes a handle which is rotatable around a rotation axis and is pressed along the rotation axis, and outputs a first signal corresponding to rotation of the handle and a second signal corresponding to pressing of the handle. The first substrate has a surface where the manipulation unit is attached. The second substrate is on an opposite side of the first substrate from the manipulation unit. The tilting mechanism includes a cylindrical shaft fixed to the substrate, and a bearing fixed to the body, wherein the shaft is perpendicular to the rotation axis, the bearing rotatably supports the shaft, and the tilting mechanism allows the substrate to swing around the shaft between a first manipulation position and a second manipulation position. The detector is disposed on the surface of the substrate facing the body, and outputs a third signal when the substrate is in the second manipulation position.
Switch mechanism for a vehicle interior component
A switch mechanism for a vehicle interior is disclosed. The switch mechanism may comprise a slide within a carrier, at least one pin movable within the slide to center the slide in the carrier and a spring to move the pin within the slide. The pin may comprise a protrusion movable against the slide to guide pin movement. The slide may comprise a rib; the protrusion may slide against the rib to guide pin movement. The rib may comprise two ribs; the protrusion may move between the two ribs. The spring may be contained within an opening in the slide; the rib may extend beyond the opening. The pin may comprise first and second guides to slide along first and second slide walls to guide pin movement. The vehicle interior component may be at least one of a console, an overhead console, a vehicle system actuator, a sunroof actuator.
Vehicle high voltage shield based interlock
A power system for a vehicle includes a traction battery that provides power to drive the vehicle, a load, and a harness having wires electrically connecting the traction battery and load, and shielding covering the wires. The power system further includes one or more control blocks that drive a signal onto the shielding, and responsive to an absence of detecting feedback from the signal, issue an interlock integrity alert.
