OMNI-WHEEL CABLE PUSHER

Cable protector devices, assemblies, and systems. The cable protection system may include a moveable system with wheels for moving the moveable system across a floor and a cable pusher attached to each of the wheels. Each cable pusher may include a frame with a pair of deflector legs configured to be positioned in front of and behind each wheel in close proximity to the floor. The cable pusher may be magnetically secured to the wheel, and the deflector legs may magnetically connect to the frame. As the wheels spin or rotate, the frame and deflector legs remain stationary, thereby pushing obstacles out of the way.

UNIFORM DECELERATION UNIT

An apparatus and method for improving the safety and performance of an automobile in crash events is disclosed. The apparatus includes a front crash pad, rear crash pad, and a connection beam. Both crash pads and the connection beam are coupled to an automobile in such fashion as to absorb and dissipate energy by converting kinetic energy into strain energy.

Extraction device for a motor vehicle

An extraction device is provided for a motor vehicle, in particular for a motor bike or for a motor vehicle similar to a motor bike. The extraction device includes at least one duct-like air-guide which has at least one opening which is arranged in or at an exhaust-air region of a ventilated vehicle component of the motor vehicle, such as engine, gearbox or the like, and which is extended between the used-air region of the vehicle component and a rear wheel of the motor vehicle, and at least one suction apparatus which is connectable or is connected to the air-guide and in which a negative pressure can be produced in order to suck air out of the exhaust-air region via the at least one air-guide.

Thermoplastic elastomer wheel deflector

A vehicle includes a vehicle body defining a front wheel well. The vehicle includes an inflatable device that is a thermoplastic elastomer. The inflatable device is inflatable from an undeployed position to a deployed position. The vehicle body defines a cavity and the inflatable device has a forward chamber and a rearward chamber disposed in the cavity in the undeployed position. The forward chamber expands vehicle-forward from the vehicle body into the wheel well from the undeployed position to the deployed position. The rearward chamber expands vehicle-rearward along the cavity from the undeployed position to the deployed position.

Wheel deflector for a small overlap crash

A system for managing wheel kinematics during a small overlap collision event includes a deflector apparatus. The deflector is configured to direct a wheel away from an occupant compartment of a vehicle. The deflector includes a first section arranged at an inside wall of a wheel well facing a wheel, near the base of a hinge-pillar. The first section includes a hollow structure configured to absorb energy from the collision event by plastically deforming. The deflector also includes a second section arranged at an angle to the wheel and configured to deflect the wheel laterally outwards from the vehicle away from an occupant compartment during the small overlap collision event. The deflector may be formed of extruded aluminum. The system may include an absorber arranged behind the first section and configured to further absorb energy from the collision event by plastically deforming.

VEHICLE PROTECTION SYSTEM TO SECURE A PROTECTIVE COVERING TO AN AXLE OF A VEHICLE

A system for protecting the body and frame of a vehicle from flying debris, particularly during a tire blowout includes a mounting apparatus configured to secure a protective shield, which may be a protective plate and/or fender, to an axle of a vehicle. In embodiments, the protective plate may be mounted to the axel via a mounting apparatus, and the fender may further be mounted to the mounting apparatus and/or protective plate. In some embodiments, the protective plate may be mounted directly to the axel, and the fender may further be mounted to the protective plate, whereby the plate may serve as the mounting apparatus.

UNIFORM DECELERATION UNIT

An apparatus and method for improving the safety and performance of an automobile in crash events is disclosed. The safety device includes first and second crash pad regions and a connecting member region disposed between the first and second crash pad regions. At least a portion of the connecting member region is arranged to move in one of an upward and downward direction at the initial moment of a crash to absorb crash energy. The safety device is arranged to collapse on itself upon continuation of the crash. In some embodiments, the safety device collapses in a horizontal direction upon continuation of the crash.
