Webbing take-up device

In a webbing take-up device, side faces of press-fit holes in a pinion are inclined in directions toward the outside of the press-fit holes on progression toward the right. Press-fit portions of a torsion shaft are press-fit into the press-fit holes from the right such that an interference force between the press-fit portions and the side faces of the press-fit holes increases on progression toward the left. This enables the press-fit portions to be effectively retained in the press-fit holes.

SEATBELT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING RESILIENT MATERIAL

A vehicle includes a vehicle body having a pillar. The vehicle includes a track supported by the pillar. The vehicle includes a bar supported by the track. The bar is slidable relative to the track from a raised position to a lowered position. The vehicle includes a seatbelt webbing extending over the bar. The vehicle includes a piston supported by the pillar. The piston includes a piston rod connected to the bar and a piston cylinder supported by the pillar. The piston rod and the piston cylinder define a volume filled with a resilient material.

BUCKLE DEVICE

In the buckle device, when or after torsional deformation of the torsion shaft has started and allowance of the drawing-out of the belt has started, the breaking portion of the shear plate is started to be deformed by the coupling hole side surface of the spool, whereby the breaking portion allows the rotation of the spool and allows the drawing-out of the belt. Therefore, the allowable drawing-out load of the belt can be made the sum of the load for torsionally deforming the torsion shaft and the load for deforming the breaking portion, and can be increased.

In a buckle device, when a belt starts to be allowed to be drawn, a fracture portion is deformed by a side surface of a connection hole of a spool, so that the fracture portion allows a rotation of the spool and allows drawing of the belt. Then, the fracture portion is fractured by the side surface of the connection hole. Therefore, a drawing allowance load of the belt when the belt starts to be allowed to be drawn can be increased.

Vehicle seat assembly

A vehicle seat assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle seat, a seat support rail, a load limiter and a seatbelt assembly. The seat support rail supports the vehicle seat within the vehicle. The vehicle seat is adjustably supported to the seat support rail. The load limiter is supported to the seat support rail. The seatbelt assembly has a latch and a receptacle that receives the latch. The receptacle is movably supported to the load limiter. The receptacle is movable along the load limiter from a rest position to an operated position upon receiving a predetermined force.
