VEHICLE-MOUNTED APPARATUS, LOST PROPERTY NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle-mounted apparatus communicates wirelessly with a terminal (user terminal) of a passenger of a vehicle and causes an electric field intensity maintaining unit to store an electric field intensity in wireless communication with the user terminal. The vehicle-mounted apparatus determines whether the user terminal is located in the vehicle based on a value related to a first electric field intensity acquired when a power supply of the vehicle is in a predetermined status and stored in the electric field intensity maintaining unit and based on a value related to a second electric field intensity acquired when the passenger leaves the vehicle and stored in the storage unit. The vehicle-mounted apparatus gives the passenger a predetermined notification when it is determined that the user terminal is located in the vehicle.
Automobile identification system
An automobile identification system utilizes fingerprint sensors disposed an exterior and interior of an automobile to obtain fingerprint images. By means of the reference fingerprint image stored in the database and the determination of the processor, the automobile identification system determines whether the person who attempts to enter the automobile is a driver or not. The automobile identification system does not need the conventional key to open the door of the automobile and activate the engine of the automobile.
Methods and systems for vehicle security and remote access and safety control interfaces and notifications
Methods, systems and media are provided for managing personal security of a user of a vehicle. The vehicle is provided with a plurality of active sensors. One method includes receiving a first remote request at the vehicle to activate a first level of security. The first level of security activates a first active sensor. The method includes recording an area proximate to vehicle in response to activating the first level of security. The recording produces a media file. The method includes transmitting the media file to Internet storage associated with an account of the user of the vehicle. The method includes setting indicators, such as lighting in and around the vehicle to identify a security level of the vehicle. The lighting can be color illumination, that indicates to a user before the user fully approaches the vehicle if the vehicle has a particular security level, based on prior monitored activity.

REMOTE CAMERA ACCESS
A vehicle configured to operate in a remote access mode is disclosed. In some examples, a camera at the exterior of the vehicle can capture one or more images of its surroundings, including the face of a person attempting to access the vehicle. A primary operator (e.g., owner or lessee) of the vehicle can receive the one or more images at a mobile device and send an input, via a user interface of the mobile device, to grant or deny access to the vehicle. In response to wirelessly receiving the input to allow access, the vehicle can be unlocked and started in the remote access mode. In some examples, the remote access mode can have a set of permissions and/or restrictions associated therewith.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE
A vehicle-internal security device is configured to perform a method, for example, by executing a computer program, in which method, when access takes place to a vehicle component or a to plurality of vehicle components from outside the vehicle, the vehicle-internal security device restricts or interrupts the access if a corresponding request was received by the vehicle via a communications network.

POSITION ESTIMATION DEVICE, POSITION ESTIMATION SYSTEM, AND POSITION ESTIMATION METHOD
A distance data between the portable device and the vehicle-side transmission and reception device is acquired. A movement speed of the portable device is calculated based on a change between a current distance data and a previous distance data. A position estimation distance for estimating the position of the portable device with respect to the vehicle is updated when the movement speed is less than a first speed. The position estimation distance is not updated when the movement speed is equal to or larger than the first speed. The position of the portable device is estimated according to the position estimation distance.

FACIAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
In accordance with an aspect of disclosure, the vehicle includes a first sensor configured to measure a distance to an object; a second sensor configured to measure a temperature of the object; a camera configured to acquire an image of the object; and a controller configured to activate the second sensor when the distance to the object measured by the first sensor satisfies the condition for performing heat detection, and activate the camera when the temperature of the object measured by the second sensor satisfies a condition for performing facial recognition.
