Vehicle Control Method and Vehicle Control System
An embodiment vehicle control system includes a drinking measurement terminal provided in a vehicle, a user terminal including a photographing unit, and a server configured to determine whether to approve a key authority for the vehicle to a user based on a facial image of the user, in response to a key authority request for the vehicle and the facial image of the user being received from the user terminal, generate a door control signal for the vehicle based on whether the key authority for the user has been approved, determine whether the user meets driving suitability requirements based on a drinking measurement result provided by the drinking measurement terminal and the facial image of the user received from the user terminal, and generate a driving control signal based on whether the user meets the driving suitability requirements.
Vehicle and Method of Controlling the Same
An embodiment vehicle includes a camera and a controller configured to determine a similarity score based on a comparison of a face image of a user acquired by the camera with a reference image, determine that a face authentication process is successful based on the similarity score being greater than a threshold, and change the threshold based on a user input for changing the threshold, location information of a smart key, or environment information around the vehicle.
VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A vehicle includes: a camera disposed on left and right sides of an exterior of the vehicle and configured to acquire image data by photographing a surrounding area of the vehicle. A controller is configured to, upon a touch of a user on a door handle of a driver door being identified based on image processing on the image data, determine a height of the user based on the image processing on the image data and to adjust positions of a driver's seat, a steering wheel, and a head up display (HUD) to correspond to the determined height of the user.
VEHICLE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A vehicle communication system for use in a vehicle having a vehicle bus. The vehicle communication system includes a display unit, a processing unit, and a relay device. The display unit provides a display screen and a receiver for receiving messages from the processing unit to be displayed on the display screen. Further, the processing unit, having means for voice recognition and dictation, includes a transmitter for sending messages to the receiver and a plurality of controls for selecting and inputting the desired message. The relay device is in electrical communication with the vehicle bus for receiving information as to the brakes, turn signals, and transmission of the vehicle, wherein the relay device powers the display unit when the transmission of the vehicle is started and displays a predetermined message on the display screen when the brakes and turn signals are engaged. The processing unit can further be operated via a remote device.
Image transmitting device to enhance security of parked vehicle
In order to enhance security of a parked vehicle, an image transmitting device to be mounted on a vehicle includes: a checking unit that checks, at a parking place of the vehicle, communicability with an external device outside of the vehicle, that is, whether an image can be transmitted from the parking place to the external device; a providing unit that provides notification information based on a result of the checking by the checking unit; a capturing unit that captures an image while the vehicle is parked; and a transmitting unit that transmits the image captured by the capturing unit to the external device.
Unauthorized intrusion prevention device, unauthorized intrusion prevention method, and unauthorized intrusion prevention program
An unauthorized intrusion prevention device is provided that, in response to detection of abnormality in an electronic control device mounted in a movable body, gives an instruction for executing measures for the movable body. The unauthorized intrusion prevention device acquires first information related to a protection function of the electronic control device and second information related to a function of the electronic control device other than the protection function. The unauthorized intrusion prevention device, using the first information, performs a first determination of whether the protection function is normal. The unauthorized intrusion prevention device, using the second information, performs a second determination of whether the function other than the protection function is normal or abnormal. The unauthorized intrusion prevention device, using results of first and second determination, determines as the measures a blocking method of blocking unauthorized information in the movable object.

VEHICLE OPERATION
A computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to collect biometric data of a vehicle user, identify a set of user-specific data from one or more stored sets of user-specific data based on the biometric data, and receive a request for a stored location. When the biometric data of the vehicle user match the stored biometric data, the instructions include instructions to display the requested location. When the biometric data of the vehicle user do not match the stored biometric data, the instructions include instructions to identify an offset location based on the requested location and a population density of the requested location and display the offset location.

DEVICE FOR INTEGRITY VERIFICATION OF IMAGE DATA AND METHOD FOR INTEGRITY VERIFICATION USING THE SAME
A device for integrity verification of image data. The device comprises: a database configured to store multiple field signatures respectively corresponding to multiple editing tools; a memory configured to store a program for integrity verification of image data; and a processor configured to execute the program stored in the memory. The processor: extracts a field from the image data when the program is executed; determines whether or not there is a field signature matched with the extracted field from among the multiple field signatures; and determines whether or not the image data are edited depending on a result of the determination.
