A pest seal for a recreational vehicle (RV) to seal the gap that exists between a hose and/or cable passing through an access port located within the service compartment of a RV. The pest seal is comprised of two halves that are joined together along a single edge with mirrored cutouts that are lined with a compressible foam formed along the joining edge so that when the two halves are brought together the cutouts allow for the passage of a hose or cable through the pest seal. Embodiments further comprise a semicircular flange formed on the underside of each halve of a radius slightly smaller than the radius of the access port or a hinge attaching the two halves at one end of the edge where the halves are joined. The halves may be joined together by any number of means such as but not limited to magnets, hook and loop fabric, and mechanical latches.

A rodent bait system for use with a vehicle to prevent rodents from entering an interior of the vehicle includes a base assembly having tubular members coupled together by connecting joints, the base assembly being disposed on a ground surface such that the tubular members and connecting joints conform around a tire of the vehicle, the tubular members having at least one entryway for permitting a rodent to enter the base assembly, a housing assembly coupled to a tee coupling of the base assembly, a pair of rods coupled to an interior wall of the tee coupling, and a bait member disposed within the housing assembly and supported by the pair of rods. The rodent enters the entryway of the base assembly and is directed along an interior path defined by any number of the tubular members and connecting joints to permit the rodent access to the bait member.

A sealing shroud is provided for blocking the port through a panel of the service compartment on an RV vehicle, or the like, through which the sewage outlet hose is connected to the external sewage line. This sealing shroud includes a pervious section preferably fabricated from a wire mesh which prevents rodents or other varmints from chewing an opening therein. The sealing shroud is carried by the external sewage line and blocks a rodent from entering into the RV through the space between the sewage line and the RV port.

Systems and methods for surrounding a tire with a device that prevents pests such as mice or other rodents from climbing the tire to enter an interior of the vehicle are provided. The device includes various components such as walls that are releasably secured to one another to surround the tire to prevent mice and other rodents from climbing up the tire. The first component includes a base wall and first and second sides that are rotatable relative to the base wall. Additionally, the second component includes a single wall with channels at opposing ends that can releasably hold the first and second sides of the first component. The second component is substantially flat, whereas the first component is movable between an extended position where the sides are substantially perpendicular to the base wall, and a collapsed position where the sides are substantially parallel and flat against the base wall.
