VEHICLE AND VEHICLE SYSTEM
A vehicle includes a controller generating a first signal; and a communicator transmitting the first signal to an external server, and receiving a second signal from a smart card storing the second signal, the second signal being generated based on the first signal. The controller authorizes the smart card to control the vehicle based on the first signal and the second signal.
Vehicle and method of controlling the vehicle
A vehicle includes a communicator for performing a radio frequency communication and another radio frequency communication with a smart key, and a controller for setting a plurality of vehicle controlled regions each having a preset range from a vehicle, estimating a position of a driver by using the radio frequency communication and the other radio frequency communication with the smart key, and setting a detection period of a Radio Frequency (RF) signal to be transmitted to the smart key based on a vehicle controlled region in which the driver is positioned, among the plurality of vehicle controlled regions.
Method and apparatus for rolling code vehicle access
A system includes a mobile-device processor configured to generate a first code based on a changing variable and a generation schema, both known by a mobile device and a vehicle and display the first code. The vehicle processor is configured to receive input of the first code, generate a second code based on the variable and schema, and grant vehicle access when the first code corresponds to the second code.
CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD
A control device controls an authentication process related to device authentication together with at least one communication device on a basis of information included in a signal received through wireless communication with the communication device. The control device performs the control in such a manner that authentication information is changed for each process group in which the authentication process is repeated more than once. Signals transmitted or received in the authentication process include a trigger signal, a request signal, and a response signal. The control device executes the process group in which the authentication process is repeated more than once for the trigger signal, the request signal, and the response signal, and changes the authentication information to be used for each of the trigger signal, the request signal, and the response signal each time the process group is executed.
ENTRY AND STARTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENTRY AND STARTING VERIFICATION
An entry and starting system in an object has a control and transmission unit configured to use a radio link to interchange at least one radio signal and an ultrasonic link to interchange at least one ultrasonic signal with a portable electronic device. The control and transmission unit sets up a radio link to the portable electronic device and uses the electronic device via the radio link to stipulate at least one relevant parameter for a subsequent ultrasonic link. The control and transmission unit is additionally configured so as, following the stipulation of the parameters, to set up an ultrasonic link according to the previously determined parameters. The entry and starting system checks an authorization of the portable electronic device, the portable electronic device being detected as authorized if the at least one relevant parameter of a subsequent ultrasonic link is concordant with the at least one stipulated parameter.
Secure telematics
A telematics system that includes a security controller is provided. The security controller is responsible for ensuring secure access to and controlled use of resources in the vehicle. The security measures relied on by the security controller can be based on digital certificates that grant rights to certificate holders, e.g., application developers. In the case in which applications are to be used with vehicle resources, procedures are implemented to make sure that certified applications do not jeopardize vehicle resources' security and vehicle users' safety. Relationships among interested entities are established to promote and support secure vehicle resource access and usage. The entities can include vehicle makers, communication service providers, communication apparatus vendors, vehicle subsystem suppliers, application developers, as well as vehicle owners/users. At least some of the entities can be members of a federation established to enhance and facilitate secure access and usage of vehicle resources.
VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE HAVING A CONTROL CIRCUIT
A vehicle door handle circuit coupled to a vehicle control unit includes a transmission antenna circuit, a control circuit and an actuation sensor via which the door handle circuit receives DC voltage for supplying the control circuit or AC voltage for controlling the antenna circuit. The antenna circuit includes a series oscillating circuit with an inductor and a capacitor. A series circuit including a first capacitor and a first rectifier is connected between two contacts and in parallel with the antenna circuit allows part of the AC voltage signal to be used for the voltage supply of the control circuit. A second rectifier connects one of the two contacts to the series circuit. A third rectifier is also provided in order to feed DC voltage to the vehicle control unit.
KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR LOCATING A SIGNAL GENERATOR OF THE ACCESS SYSTEM (AS AMENDED)
A keyless access system for a motor vehicle, which includes a portable signal generator for access to one or more doors or flaps of the motor vehicle, wherein the signal generator transmits an enable signal to a receiver unit, mounted on the motor vehicle, by a short-range radio link. The receiver unit permits access to one or more doors or flaps if it is determined that the enable signal is valid and a distance criterion which represents a distance between the signal generator and the motor vehicle is satisfied. The distance criterion results from a comparison of a weighted reception field strength of the short-range radio link between the signal generator and the receiver unit with a threshold value.
ALARMING SYSTEM FOR A WIPER AND A WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLY WITH ALARMING FUNCTION
The invention relates to an alarming system of a wiper, which comprises: a first connecting member, comprising a first body and a first number of first contacts which are insulated to each other and disposed at the first body; a second connecting member, comprising a second body and a first number of second contacts which are electrically connected to each other and disposed at the second body; and control member; any one of the first connecting member or the second connecting member is connected to a wiper arm; the other one of the first connecting member or the second connecting member is connected to a wiper blade; the first number is equal to or larger than two; when the wiper blade is properly mounted to the wiper arm, the first connecting member is connected to the second connecting member, such that each of the first contacts is in contact with corresponding one of the second contacts, and thereby the first contacts are electrically connected to each other through the second contacts; the control member are configured to sense the electrical connection between the first contacts, and to generate alarm signal when sensing that the electrical connection between the first contacts is disconnected.
Unauthorized communication prevention system and unauthorized communication prevention method
An unauthorized communication prevention system includes a communication device that is arranged in an operation subject and configured to wirelessly communicate with a terminal. The system further includes a notification unit that transmits unique authentication information of the operation subject when the terminal and the communication device establish communication; a checking unit that checks, with the authentication information, whether the terminal and the operation subject are a proper pair; and an actuation unit that performs a process for determining a positional relationship of the terminal relative to the operation subject in accordance with a check result of the checking unit.
