The invention relates to the use of a suction-cleaning attachment of a cleaning device for cleaning the interior of motor vehicles by means of a suction airflow, having a housing which has a suction duct for conducting the suction airflow, there being in the housing in addition to the suction duct a compressed air duct for conducting a compressed airflow, and/or the housing being assigned in addition to the suction duct a compressed air duct for conducting a compressed airflow, and a grip region for gripping the suction-cleaning attachment with one hand being provided on the outside of the housing. According to the invention, a switch for controlling the compressed airflow is provided, and the switch is arranged on the grip region such that the switch can be operated by the hand holding the grip region.
SERVICE STATION FOR IDENTIFYING THE DIRTINESS OF A VEHICLE COMPONENT, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SERVICE STATION
A service station for vehicles of an autonomous vehicle fleet. The service station includes at least one service module that is designed to identify the dirtiness of at least one vehicle component of the vehicle. The service module also includes at least one mobile robot and/or a robot arm on which a tool is arranged for identifying dirtiness. The tool includes at least one optical sensor and preferably at least one light source and/or at least one vapor emitter.

A sanitizing UV lamp device for disinfecting surfaces in spaces used by people, including a motor vehicle cabin, includes a housing having a cup shaped base, UV lamps powered for a selected period of time by the control circuit, a reflector, and a protective screen surrounding the reflector and the UV lamps to provide 360-degree germicidal irradiation through openings defined by the screen. The UV lamp device also includes various safety features, including occupancy detection to prevent irradiation from the at least one UV lamp upon detection of motion.

A vehicle and a method of managing cleanliness of an interior of the vehicle that are capable of detecting whether the interior of the vehicle has been contaminated and managing detection information. The method of managing the cleanliness of the interior of the vehicle includes detecting indoor contamination using a contamination detector including at least a camera, analyzing indoor cleanliness based on the result of the detecting, and outputting guidance information based on the analyzed indoor cleanliness. The detecting the indoor contamination includes detecting at least one object in an indoor region of the vehicle subjected to contamination detection and detecting whether contamination has occurred in the indoor region subjected to contamination detection other than a region in which the at least one object is detected.
VEHICLE FLOOR MAT VACUUM MACHINE
A vehicle floor mat vacuum machine includes an elongate open mouth communicating with an interior chamber for passage of a floor mat therethrough and between an upper feed roller and a lower brush roller for contacting a carpet surface of the floor mat. A vacuum source connects to a vacuum manifold to create suction, as the brush roller and suction force work in conjunction to remove sand, dirt and other debris from the floor mat. An electric motor, drive belt and reduction gear assembly rotate the feed roller and brush roller in opposite directions with the brush roller rotating at a significantly higher speed. In one embodiment, the vacuum source is a central vacuum system, wherein a solenoid-controlled valve in the vacuum line extending from the feed roller is opened for a timed sequence during operation of the machine.

Garage air-n-vac station
The Garage Air-N-Vac Station is an integrated wall-mounted vacuum, blower, and air compressor. The integrated system includes provisions for wall-mounting, tool and accessory storage, a wand hanger, and hose hangers for the combined vacuum/blower hose as well as the compressed air hose. The vacuum and blower sections of the machine are powered by a combination vacuum/blower motor, with the vacuum function utilizing the intake side of the vacuum/blower motor, and the blower function utilizing the discharge side of the vacuum/blower motor. A tankless compressor provides compressed air at full capacity. The machine is operated by a single 3-way control switch (On-Off-On) to activate either the vacuum/blower function or the compressor function. A vacuum cyclonic separator that includes: a main body having a top surface with an air outlet, a bottom perimeter defining a bottom aperture of the main body, at least two downwardly facing air inlets and at least one side wall extending between the top surface and the bottom portion and shaped such that air received within an interior cavity of main body moves in a cyclone and wherein the at least two downwardly facing air inlets are in at least substantially the same plane as the bottom perimeter of the main body; and a dump valve assembly capable of being opened and closed with one hand where the dump valve is engaged with the bottom portion to seal the bottom aperture of the main body.

A system for keeping an automated-taxi clean includes a perception-sensor, a communication-device, and a controller-circuit. The perception-sensor is operable to detect an object aboard an automated-taxi. The communication-device is operable to communicate with a present-client of the automated-taxi. The controller-circuit is in communication with the perception-sensor and the communication-device. The controller-circuit is configured to determine that the object was left by a prior-client of the automated-taxi, and operate the communication-device to convey to the present-client a cleaning-request to remove the object from the automated-taxi.
