Tubeless tire seating device
A tool for seating a tubeless tire on a rim using pressurized gas includes a cylindrical pressure tank with a nozzle affixed to it, and a rapid opening gas valve. The nozzle includes a jet configured to receive pressurized gas from the cylindrical pressure vessel into a chamber of the nozzle. As the stream of gas enters the chamber, the Venturi effect causes air to enter the chamber through air intake ports and the stream of gas and air from the air intake ports is blown out of the outlet of the nozzle. The tire is seated on the rim by positioning the system so that the air from the nozzle rapidly blows into the tire between the bead of the tire and the rim upon the valve being opened.
SENSING SEALANT LIQUID CONTAINER AND INFLATABLE ARTICLE REPAIR KIT COMPRISING THE SAME
A sensing sealant liquid container for repairing an inflatable article, preferably a tyre, comprises a first portion produced by injection moulding and a second portion produced by injection moulding, the first and the second portion being connected to each other to delimit a volume inside which a sealant liquid is retained, an outlet tube for the sealant liquid when the container is pressurized and a sensor for verifying the functional connection of the tube to the inflatable article, and at least one track electrically connected to the sensor and co-moulded on one of the first and the second portion, the track defining a contact releasable electrical connection.
High pressure cartridge inflator
A high pressure cartridge inflator has a body including an air inlet port connectible to a high pressure cartridge, an air outlet port connectible to a valve of an object to be inflated, an air discharge port, and defining a first channel extending from the air let port to the air outlet port and a second channel extending from the first channel to the air discharge port. A pressure indicator is disposed within the body and is fluidly connected to the first and second channels. A safety device is disposed in the second channel and is configured to selectively prevent and allow high pressure air in the high pressure cartridge to flow out of the body through the air discharge port.

The invention furthermore relates to a breakdown assistance device 1 for sealing and inflating vehicle tires 5, comprising a distributor device 9 with a sealant and a pressure source with an electric motor that is designed for a rated voltage of greater than 12 volts, wherein the breakdown assistance device 1 has at least one interface 6 that is designed for supplying power and for transmitting data. The invention furthermore relates to a method for controlling such a breakdown assistance device 1 and to a system for sealing and inflating vehicle tires 5, comprising such a breakdown assistance device 1 and an on-board computer 4 of a vehicle 2.
Tire pressure equalization and inflator
An apparatus and method to equalize the pressure in multiple tires supported by a single axle or strut of an airplane is shown. A control block connects the pressurized gas to a distribution block and meter. From the distribution block high pressure lines and no-loss chuck valves connect the pressurized gas to the multiple tires. Steps to be followed as programmed in the meter include startup, testing, calibration, setup and finalize. A permanent record of the steps in equalizing tire pressures is maintained.
