Rotary union for tire inflation system

A rotary union having a housing, a shaft rotatably disposed within the housing, and a tube having a first end sealingly disposed within the shaft and a second end sealingly coupled to the housing. A tire inflation system may comprise a rotary union externally mounted to a vehicle wheel end or mounted to a vehicle fairing.

Apparatus for sealing and inflating motor vehicle tires

A device for sealing and inflating motor vehicle tires, wherein the device has, in a housing, a compressor which is driven by a motor, preferably an electric motor, and which serves for generating the sealing or pump pressure, and the device has a connector for a sealant container, a valve and distributor unit for sealant and pressurized gas, and furthermore connecting means such as hoses and lines, and also switching, control and display devices for the operation of the device, wherein the device furthermore comprises a manually actuatable pressure discharge valve for decreasing the tire pressure, wherein the pressure discharge valve is configured such that, when the sealant container is connected and/or during the delivery of sealant from the sealant container into the tire, an actuation, or a dissipation of the pressure, is prevented.

MOUTHPIECE

An expiration date notification method includes activating an expiration date notification device for a puncture repair liquid installed in a vehicle that comprises a storage unit that stores an expiration date of a puncture repair liquid contained in a container, a notification condition setting unit that sets a notification period and a notification manner for notifying of a replacement period of the puncture repair liquid based on the expiration date stored in the storage unit, a notifying unit that notifies of the replacement period of the puncture repair liquid, and a control unit that controls the notifying unit based on settings of the notification condition setting unit; and notifying a user of the vehicle of the replacement period of the puncture repair liquid within a preset notification period including before and after the expiration date of the puncture repair liquid via a preset notification manner.

TIRE PRESSURE MAINTENANCE APPARATUS AND METHOD
20240034283 · 2024-02-01 · ·

An air pressure maintenance apparatus and method uses one or more high-pressure gas storage tanks coupled to an inflation hose via a calibrated rigid measurement chamber and automated system of valves to permit rapid inflation of a tire or other inflatable device to an accurate target pressure accounting for temperature effects, and recording accurate pre- and post-inflation pressure for analysis of deflation over time.

VEHICLE TIRE INFLATION COMPRESSOR FOR POWERED DATA PORTS

A device and method for dispensing air and/or sealant to a tire of a vehicle. Power supply for the air compressor is obtained via powered USB instead of the typical 12 V cigarette lighter connector. The position of the tire which is being inflated can also be determined via the data interface of the USB port. By communication between compressor and the vehicle systems interface, the compressor can automatically switch off when the recommended tire pressure has been reached.
