DEVICE FOR INFLATING A TIRE
The invention is directed to a device for inflating a tire that includes a housing with at least one first connection port and at least one second connection port. The second connection port includes connecting means to interconnect the device with a pressure tank. The first connection port is fluidically connected to the second connection port by means of a fluid passage. Furthermore the device comprises a first valve. When a pressure tank is connected to the second connection port and when the first valve is in a closed state, the first valve is suited to prevent air from flowing from inside of the pressure tank out of the first connection port. When the first valve is in an open state, it is suited to allow passage of air from inside of the pressure tank through the fluid passage to the first connection port.
Air pressure circuit for tire testing device
A pneumatic circuit of a tire testing apparatus includes: a piping configured to guiding air from an air supply source to a tire; a control part configured to output a target command pressure; a pressure proportional control valve part; and a constant-flow air discharge part. The pressure proportional control valve part supplies and discharges the air of a flow rate proportional to a differential pressure between the target command pressure and an internal pressure of the tire so that the internal pressure of the tire becomes the target command pressure, and has a dead band in which the air is not supplied and discharged within a predetermined range. The constant-flow air discharge part is formed between the tire and the pressure proportional control valve part, and is configured to discharge the air of an inside of the piping to an outside at a constant flow rate.
Vehicle tire inflation compressor for powered data ports
A device and method for dispensing air and/or sealant to a tire of a vehicle. Power supply for the air compressor is obtained via powered USB instead of the typical 12 V cigarette lighter connector. The position of the tire which is being inflated can also be determined via the data interface of the USB port. By communication between a compressor control module and the vehicle systems interface, the compressor can automatically switch off when the recommended tire pressure has been reached. The control module can be located in the USB power cord plug, and can provide for changes in voltage to the compressor to maximize power and inflation rate and/or efficiency.

COMPRESSED-AIR PROVIDING SYSTEM, IN PARTICULAR FOR PROVIDING AIR FOR TIRES OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a compressed-air providing system (10), in particular for providing air for tires (14) of a motor vehicle, comprising a compressor (16) having an electric motor (18), in particular for driving a compressing unit of the compressor (16), the compressed-air providing system (10) having means (22) for connecting the compressed-air providing system (10), in particular the electric motor (18), to an energy supply source (24) for the purpose of supplying the electric motor (18) with electrical energy. According to the invention, the means (22) comprises means for wireless transmission of energy.
Divergent inflation manifold attachment
A manifold for inflating tubeless tires that efficiently directs pressurized air to a void between a tire bead and a rim edge. Manifold is fan shaped with a center face and angled side faces. Side faces have a first plurality of apertures at a predetermined centerline and the center face has a second plurality of apertures that are offset from the predetermined centerline. The offset second plurality of air flow apertures are directed to the widest void between the tire bead and rim edge while the first plurality of air flow apertures are directed to the narrow void on either side of the widest void. A two contact point stop or rest assembly is used to abut against two points on the rim edge to provide and maintain a predetermined distance between the center face and the widest void and to provide an optimum angle of the manifold for inflation.
Device for dispensing tire sealant
In a device for dispensing tire sealant from a canister (17) by means of a pressure source (16), where the pressure source (16) and canister (17) are contained in a housing (1), the canister (17) in the housing (1) should be connected to the pressure source (16) in a removable fashion.
