SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DOCKING STATION
A system and method for remotely controlling loading dock components is disclosed that includes a distribution center having at least one dock station for exchanging materials and a dock component configured to in at least two operational states. An actuator is included that is configured to change the operational state of the dock component in response to an activation signal. A mobile remote control is configured to generate the activation signal to cause the actuator to change the operational state of the dock component and at least one predefined non-activation zone is included such that changing of operational state of the dock component is inhibited when the mobile remote control is located within the at least one predefined non-activation zone.
Length-adjustable telescopic tube, support jack and assembly process
A length-adjustable telescopic tube (1) has a longitudinal axis (L), an inner tube (2) and an outer tube (4). In one of the tubes (2, 4) a component (20) is arranged, which features first attachment structures (28a, 28b). The tube (2, 4) has second attachment structures. Furthermore, at least one plug-in element (50, 60, and 70) with third attachment structures (58, 68, and 78) is provided, which cooperate with the first (28a, 28b) and second attachment structures (48a, 48b) to form a form-locking connection with the component (20) in at least one direction along the longitudinal axis (L) or perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.

Stabilizer pad and handle apparatus
A stabilizer pad and handle apparatus is provided having a curved substantially C-shaped handle, or U-shaped handle or straight handle with ends of the handle inserted into seating holes extending inwardly from the side walls of the pad. An anchor hole and anchors may be provided extending downward through and perpendicular to the seating holes and through the handle. The pad may be rectangular or square shape or substantially circular in shape. An optional recess is provided in the pad into which the seating holes are provided, and may be angled inwardly away from the side walls, with the handle optionally provided in the recess. In certain embodiments the recess may be square, substantially rectangular, trapezoid, curved or triangular in shape. At least a portion of the top surface of the handle may be aligned with the outer circumference formed by the circular shape of the pad. The circular pad may be rolled on its side wall edge. Multiple handle means may be provided.

A reusable, multipurpose vehicular stairwell jack pad system, including a plurality of animal print jack pads, each respective pad further including a top face, a circular recess disposed on the top face, a recessed slot disposed on the top face, a wall extending from the top face and disposed adjacent the recessed slot, an oppositely disposed bottom face, a jack-engaging assembly operationally connected to the top face, a palm portion, and a toe portion extending from the palm portion. Each respective animal print jack pad is shaped like an animal paw. Each respective bottom face is contoured to leave a paw print in soft ground.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a system for operating a vehicle jack, comprising: a jack according to the present invention; an input for an air inflation tube positioned in the actuator of the jack, wherein air received through the air inflation tube actuates the lifting mechanism of the jack; an air inflation tube connected to a motorized inflator; and a motorized inflator connected to a power source.
