Lawn Care Vehicle Brake System with Intuitive Control
A riding lawn care vehicle (10) may include a frame (60), a steering assembly (30), a brake assembly (110), and a mechanical brake linkage assembly (120). At least a first drive wheel (32) and a second drive wheel (32) of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may be attachable to the frame (60). The steering assembly (30) may include a first steering lever (34) and a second steering lever (34), where the first and second steering levers (34) are operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels (32) respectively to facilitate turning of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels (32) responsive to positioning of the first and second steering levers (34) along a first direction when the first and second steering levers are in an operating position. The brake assembly may be operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels (32) to enable brakes to be selectively applied to the first and second drive wheels (32). The mechanical brake linkage assembly (120) may be configured to activate the brake assembly (110) relative to the first and second drive wheels (32) in response to movement of the first and second steering levers (34)
Parking lock arrangement
A parking lock arrangement for an electromotively driven motor vehicle, including a parking lock wheel which is rotationally conjoint with respect to a shaft in the drive train and which has multiple cutouts, a lock element which is movable between a locking position and a release position along a movement path and which, in the locking position, engages in a form-fitting manner into a cutout of the parking lock wheel and, in the release position, is out of engagement with the cutouts of the parking lock wheel, a parking lock actuator which is operatively connected to the lock element and wherein the lock element is adjustable between the locking position and the release position along its movement path. The movement path of the lock element can be rectilinear.

An electric drive axle of a vehicle includes an electric motor having an output shaft. A compound idler assembly is connected to the electric motor. The compound idler assembly includes at least one gear-clutch assembly in driving engagement with the output shaft of the electric motor. A differential is connected to the compound idler assembly, and in selective driving engagement with the compound idler assembly.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONFIGURING SELECTIVE COUPLERS IN A MULTI-SPEED TRANSMISSION
A transmission system efficiently performs efficiently and also provides the ability to perform full-power shifts. For example, a secondary clutch actuator, independent of fluid actuation, may eliminate the need for a pump to continuously provide high pressure during regular vehicle operation such that high pressures are only required during a shift event. This eliminates the need for energy at the pump to maintain application of the clutch, thereby allowing such energy to be used of other systems in the EV or to facilitate increased vehicle range.
WHEELCHAIR WHEEL LOCK PLATE ASSEMBLY
A plate assembly for a wheelchair having a wheel lock system for a spoked wheel. The wheel lock assembly includes an actuator that moves a lock-pin between locking and unlocking positions with the wheel. The plate assembly has three generally flat plates attached together by a double ring of bolts with pliant nuts. The first plate is metal and releasably engages the lock-pin. The other two plates are made of pliant material, and mate from opposite sides of the spokes to form elongated radial channels. Each channel snugly receives one of the spokes along a substantial length of the channel.
Control device for automatic transmission
A control device for an automatic transmission includes a parking lock mechanism configured to lock/unlock rotation of a power transmission shaft by setting a parking rod at locked/unlocked position when the automatic transmission is in a parking range or in other ranges, a parking drive mechanism configured to set the parking rod at the unlocked position by supplying hydraulic pressure, a hydraulic pressure control valve configured to intercept the hydraulic pressure supply to the parking drive mechanism when power is supplied thereto, and supply the pressure when power is not supplied thereto, a regulating mechanism configured to regulate the movement of the parking rod at the locked position, and a controller configured to, when the parking rod is at the locked position, maintain supply of power to the valve, while an engine speed is higher than a given value, after power of a vehicle is turned OFF.
AIRCRAFT ENGINE WITH CLUTCH AND MECHANICAL LOCK
There is disclosed an aircraft engine assembly including an engine having an engine shaft; an output shaft; a clutch in driving engagement between the engine shaft and the output shaft. The clutch has a first component in driving engagement with the engine shaft and a second component. The clutch is operable between first and second configurations. In the first configuration, the first component is rotatable relative to the second component and the engine shaft is rotatable relative to the output shaft. In the second configuration, the first and second components are engaged with one another and the engine shaft rotates with the output shaft. A mechanical lock is operable between first and second positions. In the first position, the mechanical lock is disengaged from the first component. In the second position, the first and second components are secured for joint rotation one relative to the other.
Motor Vehicle Having an Electronically Controllable Parking Lock and Having an Electronically Controllable Parking Brake
A motor vehicle has an electronically controllable parking lock and an electronically controllable parking brake, which can be controlled individually or in combination. A device having an electronic control unit and a central operating element associated with the parking lock and the parking brake is provided. When the motor vehicle is at a standstill and the central operating element is actuated, the parking lock and the parking brake can be controlled in a specific type of parking-lock and/or parking-brake activation. In a first specific type, during a first actuation of the central operating element, at least the parking brake is automatically activated first. If the central operating element is then re-actuated within a predefined time window, or if the central operating element remains actuated for a predefined minimum time period, the driver is offered at least one possibility of manually selecting a specific type of parking-lock and/or parking-brake activation.
Automatic parking control method and automatic parking control apparatus for vehicles
An automatic parking control device includes an automatic parking controller that carries out automatic parking control, and a park-by-wire controller in which a park lock is automatically engaged when automatic parking is completed at a target stopping position by the automatic parking control. The park-by-wire controller determines whether a system abnormality would occur, in which the park-by-wire system does not operate normally during the automatic parking control. The automatic parking controller prohibits the starting of the automatic parking control upon determining that the system abnormality would occur before the automatic parking control is started.
