CONTROL DEVICES FOR MOTORIZED PRESSURE BUILD-UP DEVICES AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AT LEAST ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN TWO MOTORIZED PRESSURE BUILD-UP DEVICES
A control device for a first motorized pressure build-up device of a braking system of a vehicle. The control device is designed to output at least one first piece of information to an activation device of a second motorized pressure build-up device of the braking system by, under consideration of the respective first piece of information, a first motor activatable in such a way that a pressure prevailing in at least one partial volume of the braking system is varied in accordance with a pressure change signal, which is interpretable as the respective first piece of information for the activation device using a second pressure sensor unit of the second motorized pressure build-up device.

VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD AND VEHICLE CONTROL APPARATUS
At the time of starting a vehicle, if the vehicle is stopped even without an operation of braking the vehicle, a drive force to be generated before an actual start of the vehicle is limited to or below a predetermined maximum drive force.
METHOD FOR DETERMINING JUMPS AND/OR BREAK POINTS IN AN ACTUATION CHARACTERISTIC OF AN ACTUATION UNIT, EVALUATION MODULE AND VEHICLE
A method for determining jumps and/or inflection points in an activation characteristic of an activation unit includes activating the activation unit using an activator, wherein different activation areas, separated from one another by the jumps and/or inflection points, are defined by the activation characteristic. Different activation forces for activating the activator are respectively set in the activation areas. The jumps and/or inflection points are determined by activating the activator by continuously determining activation travel values of the activator, respectively assigning an activation speed characteristic variable to the determined activation travel values, continuously forming value pairs from the determined activation travel value and the assigned activation speed characteristic variable, and checking, based on the value pairs which are formed whether significant changes occur in the activation speed. The jumps and/or inflection points in the activation characteristic are assigned to activation travel values at which significant changes occur in activation speed.
ELECTRICALLY ACTUATED MECHANICAL PARK BRAKE SYSTEM
A park brake system for adjusting a tension in a brake cable that is coupled to a park brake. The park brake system can include a driver that is communicatively coupled to a microcontroller, and an actuator that is rotatably displaceable by operation of the driver. An equalizer assembly can be linearly displaced along the rotating actuator to adjust a tension in the brake cable. The microcontroller can monitor a current being drawn by the driver as the driver is operated, and generate instructions to cease operation of the driver upon the current reaching a predetermined current threshold that corresponds a maximum force that is to be applied by the park brake. The microcontroller can also, when the park brake is being released from a set position, count pulses outputted by an encoder in connection with determining whether the park brake has reached a running clearance position.
