MULTIPLE DISK BRAKE FOR A ROTATABLE ELEMENT
An interconnected multiple disk brake for a rotatable element with an integrated sensor which is based on the rotation of a sensor disk.
METHOD AND CONTROL UNIT FOR OPERATING A TRACTOR-TRAILER COMBINATION MADE UP OF A TOWING VEHICLE AND A TRAILER INCLUDING AN OVERRUN BRAKE
A method for operating a tractor-trailer combination made up of a towing vehicle and a trailer including an overrun brake. A total weight of the tractor-trailer combination is ascertained using a drive torque of the towing vehicle and an acceleration of the tractor-trailer combination. A trailer braking effect of the overrun brake is determined using a deceleration of the tractor-trailer combination, the total weight, and a vehicle braking effect of the towing vehicle without the trailer. A brake force distribution of the towing vehicle is set using the trailer braking effect.
ELECTRIC BRAKE APPARATUS, BRAKE CONTROL APPARATUS, AND CONTROL PARAMETER CALIBRATION METHOD
A main ECU controls a braking force by driving an electric motor of a brake mechanism based on a value detected by a thrust force sensor provided to the brake mechanism. The main ECU calibrates (corrects) the value detected by the thrust force sensor based on a driving force acquired when, while a driving force is applied to left and right front wheels serving as driving wheels with the braking force applied to a rear right wheel or a rear left wheel by the brake mechanism, this driving force exceeds the braking force.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING BRAKE SYSTEM ANOMALIES
A method may include detecting a first pressure and a second pressure of a fluid in a brake pipe of a vehicle system that includes a plurality of vehicles and extends from a lead vehicle to an end vehicle. The first pressure may be measured in the lead vehicle and the second pressure may be measured in the end vehicle. The method may further include determining a pressure differential signature between the first pressure and the second pressure and evaluating the pressure differential signature with a machine learning model to determine whether a blockage or a leak exists in the brake pipe. A system may include one or more processors configured to detect a first pressure and a second pressure of a fluid in a brake pipe. The one or more processors may be further configured to determine a pressure differential signature between the first pressure and the second pressure and evaluate the pressure differential signature with a machine learning model to determine whether a blockage exists in the brake pipe.
DYNAMIC RESOURCE ALLOCATION AMONG DIFFERENT OFDM NUMEROLOGY SCHEMES
The present disclosure relates to a resource allocation procedure for allocating time-frequency radio resources by a scheduler in a mobile communication system. A plurality of numerology schemes are defined, each partitioning a plurality of radio resources of the mobile communication system into resource scheduling units in a different manner. A reference resource set is defined per numerology scheme, each being associated to a set of radio resources usable for being allocated according to the respective numerology scheme. The reference resource set of at least one numerology scheme overlaps with the reference resource set of at least another numerology scheme in the frequency and/or time domain. The resource allocation procedure is performed for allocating radio resources to one or more user terminals according to the numerology schemes. The resource allocation procedure is performed for each numerology scheme based on a scheduling time interval defined for the respective numerology scheme.

Braking device for a bicycle and braking system for a bicycle
A bicycle braking system includes a server, a portable device such as a smartphone, a display unit, a control unit, a power supply unit, a rotating electrical machine, and a bicycle. The portable device includes an image display unit, a braking condition transmitting unit, and a braking condition setting unit. The control unit regeneratively brakes the bicycle using the rotating electrical machine in accordance with the braking condition set by the braking condition setting unit. The braking system enables a non-user to set braking conditions for the bicycle and to perform braking based on the conditions set by the non-user.
Straddle-type vehicle
A position of a center of gravity of a vehicle body is easily optimized. An ABS modulator is disposed in a vicinity of a pivot bracket, which is joined to a lower rear portion of a main frame, and to which a swing arm is swingably connected.
Parking brake valve device
A parking brake valve device for controlling a spring accumulator parking brake in an electro-pneumatic brake system includes a compressed air inlet configured to connect to a compressed air supply. The parking brake valve device also includes an electro-pneumatic handbrake (EPH) valve configuration and a parking brake control outlet configured to connect a spring accumulator parking brake, and a trailer control valve (TCV) device configured to control a trailer control outlet and a trailer supply outlet for a trailer brake system. The parking brake valve device further includes a multiplex switching device connected to the compressed air inlet and having electro-pneumatic switching valves configured to be controlled via electrical control signals for selective compressed air supply and venting of the EPH valve configuration and/or the TCV device.
