BRAKING DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC AUTOMOBILE
In an electric automobile traveling by driving a rear wheel with an electric motor mounted on a vehicle body rear part, a load distributed to the rear wheel is larger than a load distributed to a front wheel by an amount corresponding to a weight of the electric motor. Therefore, it is desirable that a braking force distribution amount to the rear wheel be larger than that to the front wheel. Without providing a proportional pressure reducing valve changing a ratio of braking force distributed between the front and rear wheels, it is possible, by supplying a same brake fluid pressure from a master cylinder to front and rear wheel brake calipers and carrying out regenerative braking in the rear wheel, to make the braking force distribution amount to the rear wheel larger than that to the front wheel.
THRUST BEARING FOR VEHICLE
A thrust bearing for a vehicle includes an upper case that abuts against a vehicle body-side attaching portion and a lower case on which the upper case is provided so that the lower case is rotatable with respect to the upper case about an axial center AX of a piston rod used in a shock absorber of a suspension of the vehicle, characterized in that the thrust bearing further includes a load sensor for measuring a load vertically acting on the suspension.
BRAKE CONTROL VALVE ARRANGEMENT
An electropneumatic rail brake system configured to provide emergency braking including an emergency magnet valve which controls air flow into an emergency regulator valve, which valve has an emergency back-up chamber. The emergency regulator provides an output pressure nominally equal to the variable load pressure and no lower than the tare back-up. The magnet valve is closed when energized and when de-energized, pressure is allowed into the emergency back-up chamber, Regulation of the brake cylinder pressure continues during an emergency application such that the brake cylinder pressure applied during an emergency stop does not drop below a predetermined level. In the event of power-loss during an emergency brake stop, the nominal emergency brake pressure is applied to the brake cylinders.
AGV HAVING DYNAMIC SAFETY ZONE
There is provided an automatically guided vehicle (AGV), which is configured to detect if a payload mass differs significantly from a preset payload mass towed and/or carried by the vehicle, and if a payload mass different from the preset payload is detected, the control system of the vehicle is automatically updated to adjust either: i) the speed of the vehicle based on preset safety brake distance information associated with the detected different payload mass; or ii) increase the safety zone or switch to a safer safety zone in order to avoid collision with any obstacles.

Apparatus and method for controlling lift axle of vehicle
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for controlling a lift axle of a vehicle. To assist with braking according to an operation of a forward collision avoidance (FCA) system by using the lift axle in an emergency braking situation, the vehicle lift axle control apparatus includes a lift axle actuator that drives the lift axle of the vehicle, an interworking device that interworks with the FCA system, and a controller that controls the lift axle actuator based on information obtained from the FCA system.
DETERMINING VEHICLE LOAD CENTER OF MASS
Various examples are directed to systems and methods for operating a vehicle comprising a tractor and a trailer attached for pulling behind the tractor. A center-of-mass system may determine a mass of the trailer and a tractor understeer. The center-of-mass system may determine the tractor understeer using steering input data describing a steering angle of the tractor and yaw data describing a yaw of the tractor. The center-of-mass system may determine a load center of mass using the tractor understeer and a mass of the trailer. The center-of-mass system may further determine that the load center of mass transgresses a center-of-mass threshold and send an alert message indicating that the load transgresses the load center-of-mass threshold.
ELECTRONIC BRAKING SYSTEM
An electronic braking system including a prime mover speed sensor structured to sense a prime mover speed, a vehicle speed sensor structured to sense a vehicle speed, one or more processing circuits comprising one or more memory devices coupled to one or more processors, the one or more memory devices configured to store instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to determine an overspeed condition based on the prime mover speed and the vehicle speed, generate a tuned overspeed value based on the overspeed condition, and generate a braking command based on the tuned overspeed value.

Method for controlling or regulating a brake system and brake system
The invention relates to a brake system of a rail vehicle having at least one pneumatic brake actuator, a pneumatic braking device for generating a brake pressure, an electro-pneumatic braking device for generating a brake pressure, and a controller. In the event of rapid, forcible, or emergency braking, the pneumatic braking device or the electro-pneumatic braking device provides a basic brake pressure, and the brake pressure is changed by the electro-pneumatic braking device, starting from the basic brake pressure provided, depending in particular on a load and/or a speed.
