BRAKING CONTROL DEVICE AND BRAKING CONTROL METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
A brake control apparatus for construction machinery, includes first and second brake lines through which a brake oil is supplied to a front brake device and a rear brake device of the construction machinery, first and second proportional flow control valves installed respectively in the first and second brake lines to control a flow rate of the brake oil in proportion to inputted first and second brake control signals, a sensing portion configured to detect work and travel information of the construction machinery, and a controller configured to output the first and second brake control signals in response to a brake manipulation signal of a driver, and configured to control independently the first and second proportional flow control valves based on the work and travel information of the construction machinery detected by the sensing portion.
System, method, computer program and control unit for preventing a vehicle from rolling away
A system and a method for preventing a vehicle from rolling away are described. According to one method aspect, in the case of a vehicle equipped with several EPB actuators, the activation of only one of these EPB actuators takes place if in the case of a road inclination lying below a threshold value the vehicle begins to roll away from the stationary state.
Steering failure brake system reaction
When a vehicle experiences an instability event, an instability event trigger (e.g., a failed modulator, unexpected yaw or lateral acceleration, unexpected steering wheel position change, etc.) is monitored and the magnitude thereof is compared to a corresponding predetermined threshold above which corrective action is initiated. Depending on the magnitude and type of instability trigger, one or more wheel ends are identified as candidates for brake activation. Braking force at the identified wheel ends is gradually increased until the vehicle becomes stable or comes to a stop.
VEHICLE WHEEL STEER CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
Steering a vehicle may include applying a net brake-steering force to a steered wheel sufficient to affect a steering moment upon the steered wheel sufficient to move the steered wheel away from a zero steering angle, and resisting movement of the steered wheel back toward the zero steering angle.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO REDUCE END OF STOP JERK
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to reduce end of stop jerk are disclosed. An example vehicle includes a user interface, a brake system, and a controller to execute instructions to detect a command to engage the brake system at a command brake pressure, estimate a time until the vehicle comes to a stop, and in response to determining that the time satisfies a time threshold, engage the brake system at a delivered brake pressure less than the command brake pressure.

Brake load balance and runway centering techniques
A method for controlling brakes includes receiving, by a controller, a first wheel speed from a first wheel speed sensor of a first wheel arrangement, receiving, by the controller, a second wheel speed from a second wheel speed sensor of a second wheel arrangement, calculating, by the controller, a pressure correction, and adjusting, by the controller, a pressure command for at least one of the first wheel arrangement and the second wheel arrangement.
ELECTROPNEUMATIC HANDBRAKE SYSTEM FOR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES WITH SPRING-LOADED PARKING BRAKES
An electropneumatic brake system, for a commercial vehicle which is provided for pulling a trailer, includes at least one service brake circuit configured to activate service brake actuators, a parking brake circuit having parking brake actuators on at least one axle, a trailer brake circuit configured to provide a trailer brake pressure at a trailer brake pressure port, and a manually actuatable operating unit in a driver's cab. The manually actuatable operating unit has a first operating element and a second operating element. In the case of actuation of the first operating element when the vehicle is driving, the parking brake actuators are activated and a trailer brake pressure is output at the trailer brake pressure port. In the case of actuation of the second operating element when the vehicle is driving, only a trailer brake pressure is output.
VEHICLE CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A vehicle control apparatus and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The vehicle control apparatus includes an inputter, a determiner, and a controller. The inputter receives an automatic vehicle hold (AVH) switch operation signal from an AVH device, and receives a current vehicle movement value sensed by a sensing device and a current vehicle brake force value of a brake device that generates brake force in response to activation of the AVH device. The determiner determines whether the received AVH switch operation signal transitions from an ON state to an AVH entry state, determines whether vehicle movement occurs on the basis of the received current vehicle movement value during an AVH retention time in the AVH entry state, and determines that the current vehicle brake force value is in an abnormal state when vehicle movement occurs. The controller receives the current vehicle movement value and the current vehicle brake force value, and transmits a command for judgment to the determiner.
