OPHTHALMIC APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
The ophthalmic device 1 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises an LCD 39, an OCT unit 250, an inclination information generation unit 231, and a control unit 210. The LCD 39 presents a fixation target to an eye E under examination. The OCT unit 250 applies an OCT scan to an anterior eye part Ea of the eye E under examination, and constructs an image. The inclination information generation unit 231 generates inclination information indicating the inclination state of the anterior eye part Ea that has been drawn in the image constructed by the OCT unit 250. On the basis of the inclination information generated by the inclination information generation unit 231, the control unit 210 controls the LCD 39 to move the fixation target.
DYNAMIC EYE FIXATION FOR RETINAL IMAGING
A retinal imaging system includes an eyepiece lens assembly, an image sensor, a dynamic fixation target viewable through the eyepiece lens assembly, and a controller coupled to the image sensor and the dynamic fixation target. The controller includes logic that causes the retinal imaging system to perform operations including: acquiring a first image of the eye, analyzing the first image to determine whether a misalignment between the eye and the eyepiece lens assembly is present; in response to determining the misalignment is present, adjusting a visual position of the dynamic fixation target to encourage the eye to rotate in a direction that compensates for the misalignment, and acquiring the retinal image of the eye after adjusting the visual position of the dynamic fixation target.
Methods, apparatus, and systems for ophthalmic testing and measurement
Methods, apparatus, and systems for performing an ophthalmic diagnostic test are disclosed. In one aspect, a head-wearable device for administering an ophthalmic test to a subject can comprise a head-wearable frame for mounting the device onto the subject's head, and a light seal configured for coupling to the frame so as to isolate at least one eye of the subject from ambient light when the device is worn by the subject.

Corneal topography system operations
A mobile communication device-based corneal topography system includes an illumination system, an imaging system, a topography processor, an image sensor, and a mobile communication device. The illumination system is configured to generate an illumination pattern reflected off a cornea of a subject. The imaging system is coupled to an image sensor to capture an image of the reflected illumination pattern. A topography processor is coupled to the image sensor to process the image of the reflected illumination pattern. The mobile communications device includes a display, the mobile communications device is operatively coupled to the image sensor. The mobile communications device includes a mobile communications device (MCD) processor. A housing at least partially encloses one or more of the illumination system, the imaging system, or the topography processor.
METHOD FOR INDUCING A CONTROLLED VARIATION OF ACCOMMODATION IN AN EYE OF A SUBJECT
A method for inducing a controlled variation of accommodation in an eye of a subject, using an optical system arranged in front of at least one eye of the subject and including displaying an environmental scene, displaying, in this environmental scene, a target visible by the subject through said optical system, said target being displayed in such a way that it is perceived by the subject as moving away from said subject or moving towards said subject within said environmental scene, having the subject observe said moving target.
Method and apparatus for mTBI diagnosis implementing eye movement and pupil movement analysis in objective vergence testing
An objective screening platform for mTBI screening includes a vergence testing stimulus generator visible to a subject and configured for presenting visual stimulus to a subject which forms an optical target stimulus for at least one vergence test; at least one data acquisition unit for obtaining objective physiologic responses of the subject unit based upon each of the visual stimulus presented to the subject in each test, wherein the objective physiologic responses for each test include at least one eye position parameter and at least one pupil area parameter; and a controller configured for using at least one eye position parameter and at least one pupil area parameter to screen for the presence of mTBI of the subject.
Vision test device
Provided is a vision test device including: a projection unit 10 that projects an image on a retina of a subject with use of a laser beam 50 by two-dimensionally scanning the laser beam; a beam diameter setting unit that sets a beam diameter of the laser beam; and a numerical aperture setting unit that sets a numerical aperture of the laser beam, wherein the projection unit projects, on the retina, a test image for measuring visual information of the subject with use of a laser beam having the set beam diameter and the set numerical aperture.
