Brake cylinder maintaining with improved pressure regulation
A brake cylinder maintaining system that combines a brake cylinder maintaining check valve and a quick service limiting valve into a single unit to have lower hysteresis, and thus more precise BCM regulation pressure and a smaller pressure offset. The check valve and quick service valve are coupled to provide a single system having multiple valve seats for selective communication between quick service pressure and brake cylinder pressure on one hand, and between a brake cylinder maintaining pressure and brake cylinder pressure on the other hand.
Pilot unit, actuator system and method for producing said system
An electropneumatic pilot unit for controlling a pneumatic consumer is provided herein. The pilot unit comprises at least two electromagnetic pilot valves. Each of the electromagnetic pilot valves comprises a coil for producing a magnetic flux along a valve axis, an armature which can be moved in the axial direction of the valve axis, a valve seat which can be closed and opened by the armature, and a pneumatic inlet port and a pneumatic outlet port. At least two of the pilot valves lie next to each other with parallel valve axes. Each pilot valve has a port which protrudes towards a common underside for connection to a pilot chamber of the consumer controlled by the pilot valves.

Shuttle valve with damping
An example valve includes: (i) a valve body defining a first longitudinal bore therein and including a first inlet, a second inlet, and an outlet; (ii) a cage disposed in the first longitudinal bore coaxial with the valve body, where the cage defines a second longitudinal bore therein; (iii) a pin mounted and extending longitudinally within the second longitudinal bore at an end of the cage adjacent to the first inlet; and (iv) a spool shiftably mounted within the second longitudinal bore and configured to move axially therein to shift between a first position and a second position. The spool includes a blind hole formed at an end thereof facing the pin and coaxial therewith, such that as the spool shifts from the second position to the first position, a portion of the pin is received within the blind hole of the spool.
Servicable filter gladhand assembly
A gladhand assembly having a conduit for carrying a fluid and a port having a sidewall defining an interior region. The port also having a first opening in communication with an external environment and a second opening in communication with the conduit. The port includes a first recess in the interior region and disposed in the sidewall. There is a filter member including a sidewall and a first opening including a rim. The rim extends outwardly from the sidewall in a radial direction and is seated on the first recess in the sidewall of the port. There is a seal member configured to engage with and close the first opening in the port and the seal member includes a film having a first surface facing the external environment and a second surface facing the interior region of the port. The film includes a re-closable aperture.
Motorcycle parking brake device
There is disclosed a motorcycle parking brake device adapted to be mounted to the master cylinder of a braking system. The brake device includes a bolt portion with a stem portion which extends to a head having a flange. The stem portion includes a threaded portion, a cylindrical first seat, a recessed portion, and a second seat. The stem portion has a stem channel with an O-ring slot containing an O-ring seal. A hydraulic fluid opening extends through the recessed portion and into the stem channel. The central stem channel extends to a head channel. A plunger is coupled to the bolt portion for reciprocal movement between a disengaged position and an engaged position. The plunger has a shank, a piston, and a push plate. The brake device also has a seal fitted about the second seat and a resilient D-ring seal fitted about the first seat.
Filtered gladhand connector
The present invention is directed to a gladhand connector having multiple ports and an integrated filter. The connector has a base that includes an air hose connector clamp on a first surface, and a first access port extending from the first surface toward a second surface, and a second access port on a bottom surface. The access ports are in fluid communication with an intermediate conduit configured to direct air received from an air hose through the housing. The connector also comprises a receptacle adjacent the first access port and in fluid communication with one of the access ports. The receptacle is configured to receive a pressure sensitive, removable and replaceable filter assembly that is configured to filter debris. The filter assembly is displaceable by air pressure of received air. The connector further comprises a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a vehicle.
Brake System Damping Device with a Passage in a Separating Element
A brake system damping device includes a first space, a second space, a third space, a first separating element, a second separating element, a closure element, and a plug-type element. The first space is configured to have hydraulic pressure applied thereto. A compressible medium is situated in the second space and the third space. The first separating element separates the first space from the second space, and the second separating element separates the second space from the third space. The second space is connected in medium-conducting fashion to the third space by a passage formed in the second separating element. The closure element is configured to be moved with the first separating element so as to close the passage in a movement direction as soon as the hydraulic pressure has reached a predefined pressure value in the first space. The plug-type element is arranged in the passage.
