SEPARABLE TOW HOOK BRAKE RELEASE SYSTEM
A brake release system for a vehicle is described to transfer mechanical movement between two hydraulic actuators. The system includes a first hydraulic system on a removable portion of the vehicle and a second hydraulic system on a main chassis of the vehicle. The two hydraulic systems are mechanically engaged with each other where the removable portion of the vehicle attaches to the main chassis. In this way, a force applied to the removable portion of the vehicle when the vehicle's tow hook is engaged may be transferred to release the parking brake on the main chassis without a hydraulic connection between the removable portion and the main chassis. This may be useful when a removable battery frame with a tow hook makes up a separable rear portion of an electric vehicle, allowing the battery frame to be quickly and efficiently removed from the main chassis of the vehicle.
Swivel coupling and hose assemblies and kits utilizing the same
A swivel coupling assembly includes a first annular member having at least one annular barb, a shoulder and at least one annular groove containing a seal. There is a first bearing surface and a second bearing surface either side of the annular groove. The first and second bearing surfaces have a width equal to or greater than a width of the annular groove. There is a second annular member having an inner surface defining a bore configured to receive the first annular member. When joined, the shoulder of the first annular member frictionally engages the bore of the second annular, thereby allowing rotation. The seal engages with and seals the bore at a location between the ends of the second member. and spaced by a distance of at least the width of the first and second bearing surfaces from the shoulder and the second opening, respectively.

HYDRAULIC LINE COUPLING FOR A HYDRAULIC BRAKE OR CLUTCH OF HANDLEBAR-OPERATED VEHICLES AND HYDRAULIC BRAKE OF A HANDLEBAR-OPERATED VEHICLE
A hydraulic line coupling, for a hydraulic brake or clutch of handlebar-operated vehicles, having a line connection piece with a hydraulic line extension and a housing with a coupling opening, in which the line connection piece for coupling the line to the housing can be disposed. The connection piece comprises a passage connected to the line. A valve device is disposed in the housing and is configured such that the valve device closes the connection for the connection piece when the connection piece is not in the coupling opening. The line coupling has a seal, with which seal the valve device closes the connection for the connection piece when the connection piece is not in the coupling opening. With the seal, the connection piece seals the passage from the environment when the connection piece is in the coupling opening.
Cooling device for forklift brake system
The present invention is related to a cooling device for a forklift brake system, which is capable of maintaining a predetermined level of heat-radiation performance by reducing heat when heat is generated in a service brake that is provided at a forklift driving shaft. A cooling device for a forklift brake system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention allows cooling oil to bypass a cooler when a pressure of the cooling oil is abnormally increased or there is a concern that a pressure of the cooling oil is increased, thereby preventing the cooler from being damaged.
Check valve
Disclosed herein is a check valve. The check valve includes a valve housing having upper and lower ends opened and having an inlet formed along the circumference of the valve housing, the inlet linked to a inlet fluid path, an upper cap coupled to seal up an open upper portion of the valve housing, a lower holder coupled to an open lower portion of the valve housing, having an outlet formed along the circumference of the lower holder, the outlet linked to a outlet fluid path, and having a guide hole in the lower portion of the lower holder, and a plunger installed to move up or down to selectively open or close an orifice while elastically supported by an elastic member supported by the lower holder, wherein the plunger comprises guides at upper and lower ends of the plunger to guide the plunger to make stable linear motion.

Electrical connections using vehicle brake lines
An apparatus includes a first electrical component, a second electrical component, and a brake line. At least part of an electrical connection between the first electrical component and the second electrical component is defined by the brake line. The electrical connection may be a secondary electrical connection for rerouting an electrical path. The brake line may include first and second tubular conductive structures for defining first and second electrical connections. A repeater may be used to retransmit a data signal along the brake line. A nonconductive layer may be disposed on a tubular conductive structure of the brake line. A controller may switch operation of the brake line between an electrical power transmission mode and a data signal transmission mode. A controller may be operable determine a connected state or a disconnected state of the brake using the electrical connection.
