Electronic brake system
Disclosed herein an electronic brake system includes a first block in which a mechanical unit operated mechanically in association with a brake pedal is disposed; a second block in which an electrical unit electronically operated and controlled by an electronic control unit is disposed; and a connection line configured to hydraulically connect the first block and the second block, and the first block and the second block are installed at positions spaced apart in a vehicle so that mountability of the brake system and the degree of freedom in design of the vehicle may be improved.
Hydraulic unit for a service brake assembly of a hydraulic power-brake system
A drilling of a hydraulic unit of a service brake assembly of a vehicle hydraulic-power brake system.
Hydraulic unit for a service brake assembly of a hydraulic power-brake system
A drilling of a hydraulic unit of a service brake assembly of a vehicle hydraulic-power brake system.
AIR BRAKE TUBING AND COMPOSITIONS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Air brake tubing is provided having an air brake tube body comprising at least one layer formed from a composition comprising a copolyester, polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate; and a thermoplastic polyurethane.

ASPIRATED RELIEF VALVE FOR A TURBOCHARGING SYSTEM
Engine systems have an air induction system, a turbocharger in fluid communication with an intake manifold, an evacuator defining a Venturi gap with a suction port in fluid communication therewith, a relief valve enclosing a piston and defining an inlet and an outlet in selective fluid communication with one another, and a storage tank of high pressure air in fluid communication with the evacuator. The relief valve has a valve element connected to the piston, and the piston divides the housing into a pressurized chamber in fluid communication with the suction port of the evacuator and a bypass portion in fluid communication with the inlet, which is in fluid communication with the compressed air from the turbocharger, and the outlet, which is in fluid communication with the air induction system or atmosphere. A discharge cone of the evacuator is in fluid communication with atmosphere or the air induction system.
Banjo fitting including seal rupturing structure and hydraulic hose coupling assembly including same
A banjo fitting is provided that may include an annular portion with an internal bore that extends along a first axis, and a hose attachment portion that extends radially from the annular portion, and has an internal fluid passageway extending along a second axis formed at an angle to the first axis. A seal rupturing structure may be positioned within the internal fluid passageway of the hose attachment portion.
INTERLOCKING GLADHANDS
A gladhand coupling that prevents inadvertent separation of the coupling halves without the need for additional structure or manipulation to connect and disconnect the halves. Each half is equipped with a lug having two spaced apart ramped pads and a flange defining a channel having a corresponding ramped pad. When two halves are positioned together then rotated into the locked position, the ramped pad of the flange is positioned proximately to the either of the ramped pads of the flange to prevent inadvertent lateral compression of the two halves that would otherwise cause unintentional uncoupling. The coupling may be disconnected by simple rotation of one coupling half relative to the other so that the ramped pad of the lug is positioned between the spaced apart ramped pads of the lug and by pulling the coupling apart as done by current rail car decoupling procedures.
FLARE-TYPE BRAKE LINE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A flare-type brake line assembly includes (a) a brake tube having a flare with a first sealing surface, (b) a brake component having a port with a second sealing surface and (c) a tube nut to secure the brake tube and brake component together. At least one of the two sealing surfaces is treated to increase the coefficient of friction between those surfaces. A related method is also disclosed.
HYDRAULIC UNIT FOR A BRAKE SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HYDRAULIC UNIT FOR A BRAKE SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
A hydraulic assemblage for a braking system of a vehicle, including a brake master cylinder and at least one valve, the brake master cylinder being disposed in and/or on a first hydraulic assemblage sub-block, and the at least one valve being disposed in and/or on a second hydraulic assemblage sub-block; the first hydraulic assemblage sub-block and the second hydraulic assemblage sub-block being joined to one another via an interlayer that is shaped at least in part from at least one airtight material having vibration-damping properties; and at least one first conduit portion of the first hydraulic assemblage sub-block being connected, via at least one hydraulic connecting structure extending through the interlayer, to at least one second conduit portion of the second hydraulic assemblage sub-block. A braking system for a vehicle, having a hydraulic assemblage and a method for manufacturing a hydraulic assemblage for a braking system are also described.
