20200108814 · 2020-04-09 ·

A container unit for brake fluid in a vehicle hydraulic brake system and connectable to a hydraulic component of the brake system, and includes: a storage chamber for brake fluid, the storage chamber having a flow channel between the storage chamber and the hydraulic component, the storage chamber and flow channel define an inner space of the container unit; a displaceable valve unit regulates flow of brake fluid in and out of the storage chamber through the flow channel, the valve unit in an open position is displaced to allow brake fluid to flow when the container unit is connected to the hydraulic component, and the valve unit in a closed position is displaced to prevent outflow of brake fluid when the container unit is disconnected from the hydraulic component. The valve unit in the open and closed positions is fully enclosed within the inner space of the container unit.

METHOD FOR TESTING A VEHICLE POWER BRAKING SYSTEM
20200056962 · 2020-02-20 ·

To test a vehicle power braking system, a piston of a power brake pressure generator is displaced twice for a pressure build-up and in between back preferably by a longer distance. Extension of the piston travel during the second displacement is an indication of air in a cylinder of the power brake pressure generator due to an excessively low brake fluid level in a brake fluid reservoir.

Braking mechanism comprising a working fluid receptacle

A brake unit having a container which serves for accommodating working fluid and which is arranged with at least one connector piece in a receiving bore and which is sealed off by a sealing element which extends radially around the connector piece. In order to offer a simple, inexpensive and pressure-tight interface between connector piece in a receiving bore, it is proposed that a form fit transversely with respect to the direction of the longitudinal axis of the connector piece is formed by a displacement of the material of the sealing element during the installation of the connector piece in the receiving bore.
