Test unit for an actuation device of an electrical apparatus
A test unit for an actuation device of an electrical apparatus is configured as an ASIC and includes a test circuit configured to generate a voltage test sequence, a memory configured to store a response pattern, and an analysis unit configured to compare the response pattern with a reference pattern.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE POWERTRAIN AND PARKING CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A powertrain for an electric vehicle includes: a motor that generates torque, a motor controller that controls the motor; a two-stage speed reducer connected to the motor and having a synchronizer movable to a neural position when the electric vehicle is parked; a pair of drive wheels connected to the two-stage speed reducer through a differential gear; a pair of electric parking brakes (EPBs) that locks or unlocks the pair of drive wheels, respectively, and a vehicle controller that controls the pair of EPBs. The synchronizer moves to the neutral position to prevent the torque of the motor from being delivered to the drive wheels.
Brake control device and brake system for vehicles
A brake control device for at least four fluidically actuatable, especially hydraulically actuatable, wheel brakes of a vehicle brake system, which device includes at least one input pressure connection, a wheel-specific output pressure connection for every wheel brake, a pressure regulating valve array for setting wheel-specific brake pressures at the output pressure connections and a pressure source the brake control device having a wheel specific input pressure connection for every wheel brake.

SECURE TRAILER CONNECTION SYSTEM
A system for detecting if a hitch connecting a trailer and a vehicle is not secure. The system comprises a sensor, an output device, and electronic control unit. The electronic control unit receives information about the hitch connecting the trailer and the vehicle from the sensor. The electronic control unit detects if the hitch connecting the trailer and the vehicle is not secure. If the hitch connecting the trailer and the vehicle is not secure the electronic control unit generates a driver notification and controls the vehicle's motion.
Method for Operating a Brake System with an Automated Parking Brake
A method for operating a brake system with an automated parking brake for a motor vehicle, includes detecting a defined fault. The method further includes activating a parking mode of the parking brake automatically when the defined fault is detected. The automated parking brake is operable in different operating modes, a first operating mode corresponding to a drive mode and a second operating mode corresponding to the parking mode.

Parking Brake and Anti-Theft Apparatus for Vented Disc Brakes
Embodiments of a parking brake and anti-theft apparatus for a vented disc brake system are described herein. Such embodiments may include a brake assembly, an actuator and a rocker or a locking arm. The brake assembly by include a first and second rotor plates separated by spacers and slots. The rocker and locking arm may include pawls extending from an edge, and may be positioned adjacent to a circumference of the rotor plates, aligned between the rotor plates. The actuator may move the rocker and/or locking arm between locked an unlocked positions such that, in the locked configuration, the pawls are inserted into the slots, and in the unlocked configuration, the pawls are disposed outside the slots.

BRAKE APPARATUS AND BRAKE METHOD
Disclosed herein are a brake system and a method therefor. The brake system is used in a negative brake system and includes a service brake line through which a pressure is supplied to or recovered from a service brake for application or release of a braking force thereto or therefrom, a parking brake line through which a pressure is supplied to or recovered from a parking brake for application or release of a braking force thereto or therefrom, and a control unit configured to detect whether or not a driver operates the service brake to control the recovery of the pressure in the parking brake line when an abnormality occurs in the service brake line.
