BRAKING CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
This braking control device pumps a brake fluid from a reservoir to each wheel cylinder by one fluid pump and includes an electric motor which drives the fluid pump; and a controller which controls the electric motor. The controller calculates a target fluid pressure on the basis of at least one among the vehicle wheel speed, the vehicle deceleration state, and the turning state of the vehicle, calculates a target discharge amount for the fluid pump on the basis of the target fluid pressure, and controls the electric motor on the basis of the target discharge amount. The controller has a front wheel calculation map of the relationship between the fluid pressure and the inflow volume of the brake fluid corresponding to a front wheel cylinder, and a rear wheel calculation map corresponding to a rear wheel cylinder, and calculates the target discharge amount on the basis of the maps.
EMERGENCY BRAKING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is an emergency braking apparatus for a vehicle. The emergency braking apparatus includes a sensor mounted to a host vehicle and configured to detect the outer or inner area of the host vehicle, a processor configured to process data collected by the sensor, and a controller configured to provide control signals for controlling the host vehicle based on the data processed by the processor. The sensor detects a state of a driver or a traveling state of the host vehicle. The processor determines whether the driver is inattentive based on the detected state of the driver or the detected traveling state of the host vehicle. The controller provides a braking signal for braking the host vehicle if it is determined that the driver is inattentive.
METHOD FOR MONITORING AN IMPLEMENTATION OF AN AUTOMATEDLY DEMANDED BRAKING PRESET, AND BRAKE SYSTEM
A method for monitoring an implementation of an assistance braking specification, requested in an automated fashion by a brake system in a vehicle includes: detecting whether an assistance braking specification which is requested in an automated fashion is present; detecting an actual dynamics variable, the actual dynamics variable including wheel dynamics of at least one wheel of the vehicle and/or of a trailer, the actual dynamics variable being assigned to a wheel which is to be braked as a result of the assistance braking specification which is requested in an automated fashion; determining a reference dynamics variable, the reference dynamics variable including driving dynamics of the vehicle and/or of the trailer; and comparing the actual dynamics variable with the reference dynamics variable. When an assistance braking specification is present: a faultfree implementation of the assistance braking specification which is requested is detected if the actual dynamics variable deviates.
BRAKING ASSISTANCE METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
In a vehicle braking assistance apparatus, a detection unit detects a target object in a traveling lane of an own vehicle. A braking assistance level determination unit, which determines a braking assistance level of the own vehicle by a braking device, determines, upon detecting a cut-in vehicle that has changed a travelling course to the travelling lane of the own vehicle using a detection signal from the detection unit, whether the cut-in vehicle is accelerable. The braking assistance level determination unit sets the braking assistance level of the braking to a high value that is higher than a standard value upon determining that the cut-in vehicle is not accelerable.
VEHICULAR BRAKE DEVICE
The vehicular brake device includes a determination unit, a ratio setting unit, and the control unit. The determination unit determines the operating condition of a vehicular brake device. The ratio setting unit sets, on the basis of the result of determination by the determination unit, a first ratio which is the ratio of a wheel pressure generated by a piston drive unit to a target wheel pressure, and a second ratio which is the ratio of a wheel pressure generated by a hydraulic pressure adjusting unit to the target wheel pressure. The control unit controls the piston drive unit and the hydraulic pressure adjusting unit on the basis of the first ratio and the second ratio.
Vehicular braking device
A hydraulic pressure braking force generation device is provided with a first control unit for performing control for inhibiting excessive responses in which the input pressure is controlled such that the output pressure is within a first region set using a braking target oil pressure as a reference, a second control unit for performing control for responsiveness in which the increase speed or decrease speed of the input pressure is increased so as to be larger than that in the control for inhibiting excessive responses, to cancel response delay and a switching unit which, on the basis of the state of the braking target oil pressure, switches between the control for inhibiting excessive responses performed by the first control unit and the control for responsiveness performed by the second control unit.
System and Method for Controlling an Automated Braking Application
A controller comprises an electronic communication line configured to receive a system brake request control signal representing a requested system brake application and an identified urgency. A hardware processor, configured to perform a predefined set of basic operations in response to receiving the system brake request control signal, is capable of: determining a maximum braking pressure to be applied during the system braking application based on the identified urgency; generating a first system brake mode control signal, based on the determined maximum braking pressure, to set an associated first valve to a first valve state; generating a second system brake mode control signal, based on the determined maximum braking pressure, to set an associated second valve to a second valve state, the maximum braking pressure during the system braking application being set by the first valve state and the second valve state; determining an activation profile for an associated modulator based on the determined maximum braking pressure; the controller transmitting, via the electronic communication line, the first system brake mode control signal, the second system brake mode control signal and modulator control signals according to the activation profile.
Parking assist device
A parking assist device includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to: perform parking assist of a vehicle to automatically park the vehicle at a target position while restricting a vehicle speed to an upper limit or lower in accordance with an instruction of a user who is outside the vehicle; determine whether or not the vehicle moves on a road surface having a downhill grade along a travelling direction of the vehicle by the parking assist; and set the upper limit in the case where the vehicle is determined to move on the road surface having a downhill grade to be smaller than the upper limit in the case where the vehicle is not determined to move on the road surface having a downhill grade.
