Method and brake control for actuating a friction brake
For rapid and precise actuation of a friction brake, the thermal expansion of the friction brake is determined using a thermal model of the friction brake and therefrom the temperature-dependent shift in the contact point is determined for the braking operation and the temperature-dependent shift in the contact point is taken into account when determining the actuation measure of the friction brake to be adjusted.

A brake device includes: a first pressurizing unit configured to increase a WC pressure by supplying brake fluid into wheel cylinders provided in wheels RL and RR; a second pressurizing unit connected to a reservoir tank via a fourth flow passage and configured to increase the WC pressure by supplying the brake fluid taken in from the reservoir tank into the wheel cylinders; and a brake control unit configured to control at least one of the first pressurizing unit and the second pressurizing unit based on a target WC pressure. The brake control unit is configured to, when the WC pressure is to be increased by operating the second pressurizing unit, execute an auxiliary brake control in which the first pressurizing unit is operated to assist the second pressurizing unit to increase the WC pressure.
WORK VEHICLE
Provided is a work vehicle capable of satisfying a user's demand to brake performance in a flexible manner. A wheel loader 1 comprises a controller 5 storing a plurality of control characteristics each of which is set such that a brake valve control pressure Pi of a solenoid proportional valve 45 increases as a pedal angle θ of a brake pedal 43 increases, and under the condition where a pedal angle θ is equal to or less than a predetermined pedal angle θ, an increase rate of the brake valve control pressure Pi with respect to the pedal angle θ varies. In a case where the pedal angle θ detected by a potentiometer 33 is equal to or less than the predetermined pedal angle θth, the controller 5, calculates the brake valve control pressure Pi based on the selected one control characteristic.
CONTROL UNIT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A BRAKE SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
A control unit for a brake system of a vehicle. Using a sensor signal, provided by a sensor and is in regard to a distance moved by a driver braking-force transmission component or by a booster force transmission component, the control unit discerns if a movable piston of a master brake cylinder of the brake system is moved by a brake actuating distance equal to a specified, limiting brake actuating distance, and, possibly, to output at least one control signal to a pump control unit of at least one hydraulic pump of the brake system. The pump control unit can be activated by the at least one control signal so that brake fluid may be conveyed from a brake fluid reservoir of the brake system into at least one wheel brake cylinder of the brake system using at least one hydraulic pump controlled by the pump control unit.
ELECTRONIC BRAKE FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
An electronic brake for a vehicle and a control method therefor according to an embodiment of the present disclosure are able to generate a braking force required to safely run the vehicle even if something is wrong with a main brake device, by controlling an auxiliary brake device, which generates a required braking force by serving as a backup for the main brake device.
Compensation control system for preventing braking inconvenience of flex brake
A compensation control system is provided for preventing braking inconvenience of a flex brake that compensates for brake hydraulic pressure only for initial braking when a brake mode is forcibly switched, thus allowing a driver to recognize a change in braking force, and thereby improving stability when a vehicle is driven. The control system forcibly switches the brake mode, selected by a driver when a booster system fails, into a normal brake mode, and compensates to reduce the magnitude of brake hydraulic pressure, which is to be reduced when the brake mode is forcibly switched, during initial braking.
BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE AND VEHICLE WITH A BRAKING SYSTEM OF THIS KIND
A braking system including a brake controller to control an actuating drive, a wireless communication unit to receive external data from an external device, an online receiver to receive vehicle data from devices within the vehicle and a portion of the external data and to identify a situation requiring braking as online information, a first offline receiver to receive at the vehicle data from the devices and to identify the situation requiring braking as first offline information, a second offline receiver including sensors to record traffic data and configured to identify the situation requiring braking as second offline information from the traffic data, and a comparator to compare the online information and the first and second offline information and generate a positive or negative result on the basis of the comparison, and transmit a positive result to the brake controller in order to activate the brake controller.
