DETERMINING AND DISPLAYING AUTODRIVE LANES IN AN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to identifying and displaying traffic lanes that are available for autonomous driving. This information may be displayed to a driver of a vehicle having an autonomous driving mode, in order to inform the driver of where he or she can use the autonomous driving mode. In one example, the display may visually distinguishing between lanes that are available for auto-drive from those that are not. The display may also include an indicator of the position of a lane (autodrive or not) currently occupied by the vehicle. In addition, if that lane is an autodrive lane the display may include information indicating how much further the vehicle may continue in the autonomous driving mode in that particular lane. The display may also display information indicating the remaining autodrive distance in other lanes as well as the lane with the greatest remaining autodrive distance.
VEHICLE DRIVING SUPPORT DEVICE
A vehicle driving support device includes a surrounding environment recognition unit, a travel control unit, and a collision avoidance controller. The collision avoidance controller is configured to estimate a position of a vehicle and generate a forecast traveling path thereof when turning across an opposite lane at an intersection, recognize an oncoming vehicle traveling on each of lanes of the opposite lane, based on surrounding environment information acquired by the surrounding environment recognition unit, detect, for each lane, a collision forecast position at which the forecast traveling path intersects with a traveling path of the oncoming vehicle, and forecast a collision of the vehicle with the oncoming vehicle, determine whether to execute collision avoidance control in which the travel control unit operates a brake driver, for the collision forecast position, and dispose the collision avoidance control at a collision avoidance position on the forecast traveling path.
DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A driver assistance system for a vehicle includes a vision system, a sensing system and a control. The vision system includes a camera and the sensing system includes a radar sensor. Image data captured by the camera is provided to the control and is processed by an image processor of the control. Responsive to image processing of captured image data, lane markers on the road being traveled along by the equipped vehicle are detected and the control determines a lane being traveled by the equipped vehicle. Radar data generated by the radar sensor is provided to the control, which receives vehicle data relating to the equipped vehicle via a vehicle bus of the equipped vehicle. Responsive at least in part to processing of generated radar data and captured image data, the control detects another vehicle present on the road being traveled along by the equipped vehicle.
Driver assistance system for vehicle
A driver assistance system for a vehicle includes a forward-viewing camera disposed in a windshield electronics module attached at a windshield of the vehicle and viewing through the windshield. A control includes a processor that, responsive to processing of captured image data, detects lane markers on a road being traveled by the vehicle. The processor determines curvature of the road being traveled by the vehicle and detects another vehicle that is present exterior of the equipped vehicle and determines that the detected other vehicle is in the same traffic lane as the equipped vehicle or is in an adjacent traffic lane. The processor processes captured image data to determine distance from the equipped vehicle to the detected other vehicle that is present exterior of the equipped vehicle and within the exterior field of view of the forward-viewing camera. The processor processes captured image data for vehicle speed control.
Control apparatus for vehicle
A control apparatus for controlling a vehicle which is provided with a braking/driving force varying device capable of individually changing a braking/driving force acting on each of wheels (FL, FR, RL, RR) with respect to each wheel. The control apparatus includes a target state quantity setting device for setting a target state quantity corresponding to a target motion state of the vehicle; and a target braking/driving force setting device for setting a target braking/driving force, which is a target value of the braking/driving force, such that a state quantity corresponding to the target state quantity and a steering reaction force transmitted to a steering apparatus from the wheel are the set target state quantity and a predetermined target steering reaction force, respectively, on the basis of a relative relation, which is set in advance, between the state quantity and the steering reaction force, and a left-right braking/driving force difference of front wheels and a left-right braking/driving force difference of rear wheels.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR NAVIGATING A VEHICLE AMONG ENCROACHING VEHICLES
Systems and methods use cameras to provide autonomous navigation features. In one implementation, a method for navigating a user vehicle may include acquiring, using at least one image capture device, a plurality of images of an area in a vicinity of the user vehicle; determining from the plurality of images a first lane constraint on a first side of the user vehicle and a second lane constraint on a second side of the user vehicle opposite to the first side of the user vehicle; enabling the user vehicle to pass a target vehicle if the target vehicle is determined to be in a lane different from the lane in which the user vehicle is traveling; and causing the user vehicle to abort the pass before completion of the pass, if the target vehicle is determined to be entering the lane in which the user vehicle is traveling.
