PARKING BRAKE ASSEMBLY WITH ABS CONTROL FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL WHEEL
A parking brake assembly for an electronically controllable pneumatic braking system for a vehicle includes a parking brake unit having a supply connection to receive a supply pressure, a brake request connection to receive a parking brake request, and a parking brake pressure connection to provide a parking brake pressure. The parking brake assembly further includes a first ABS valve unit for a first channel and a second ABS valve unit for a second channel. The first ABS valve unit is configured to provide a pressure for a first spring-loaded brake cylinder at the first channel and to admit air to the first channel, in stages. The second ABS valve unit is configured to provide a second brake pressure for at least one second spring-loaded brake cylinder at the second channel and to admit air to the second channel, in stages.
System and method of providing parking guidance service of vehicle
Disclosed is a system of providing a parking guidance service of a vehicle including a sensor unit including a plurality of sensors configured to sense an environment around the vehicle and a parking space, a database unit configured to store parking pattern data of a driver, a controller configured to determine a parking difficulty of the parking space based on information sensed by the sensor unit and parking pattern data of the driver, stored in the database unit, and an output unit configured to provide information on the parking difficulty of the parking space, determined by the controller.
AUTOMOBILE ELECTRONIC PARKING EXECUTION CONTROLLER WITH DOUBLE-MCU REDUNDANCY DESIGN
An automobile electronic parking execution controller with a double-MCU redundancy design comprises a parking switch circuit, a biaxial acceleration sensor unit, a main micro control unit (MCU) U2 and a monitoring MCU U1, wherein the main MCU U2 controls a parking motor by means of detecting signals of the parking switch circuit and the biaxial acceleration sensor, the monitoring MCU U1 monitors a running state of a whole control system and restores the main MCU U2 when the main MCU U2 is abnormal, and the main MCU U2 restores the monitoring MCU U1 when the monitoring MCU U1 is abnormal. After the main MCU U2 crashes, the main MCU U2 can still be quickly stored through the monitoring MCU U1, so that the main MCU U2 quickly enters a response state to recover the parking brake control ability, which improves the safety of the system.
Vehicle sensor with integrated radar and image sensors
A vehicular sensing system includes a sensor module disposed at the vehicle. The sensor module includes first and second radar sensors and a camera. A field of sensing of the first radar sensor is encompassed by a portion of a field of view of the camera and a field of sensing of the second radar sensor is encompassed by another portion of the field of view of the camera. Outputs of the radar sensors and the camera are communicated to a control. The control, responsive to processing of the outputs of the radar sensors, detects the presence of an object exterior the vehicle and within the field of sensing of at least one of the first and second radar sensors. The control, responsive to detection of an object via processing of the outputs of the radar sensors, processes the output of the camera to classify the detected object.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRO-MECHANICAL BRAKE
An electro-mechanical brake device comprising: a sensor unit comprising one or more sensors; an electronic parking brake (EPB) configured to fix a wheel of the vehicle when the vehicle is parked; a hydraulic braking unit configured to supply a braking force to a wheel brake using hydraulic pressure generated at a master cylinder; a driving control unit configured to determine whether braking is required for the vehicle based on at least one of a driver's braking intention, a change in the hydraulic pressure at the master cylinder, a vehicle status, an engine status and a transmission state, and further configured to determine whether an actuator has failed; and an actuator decision unit configured to, when the driving control unit determines that braking is required for the vehicle, brake the vehicle using any one of the hydraulic braking unit and the EPB depending on whether the actuator has failed.
Motor vehicle control unit for an electric parking brake
The invention relates to a motor vehicle control unit. The control unit comprises a first processor system, which is designed to control an actuator of an electric parking brake and at least one additional motor vehicle function unit. A second processor system of the control unit is designed to control the at least one actuator in an at least partially redundant manner to the first processor system. Furthermore, there is a changeover device, which is designed to enable an activation of the at least one actuator either via the first processor system or the second processor system.
Automated system and method for parking a commercial vehicle
A system for automatically parking a commercial vehicle comprises a service brake system having at least one braking valve, a braking controller for controlling the service brake system, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) controller. The ADAS controller communicates with the braking controller and requests activation of the service brakes of the commercial vehicle until the vehicle is stationary. The braking controller, in response to the ADAS controller requesting activation of the service brakes, determines the commercial vehicle should remain stationary and activates at least one braking valve to exhaust system pressure to mechanically park the vehicle.
Parking braking force-associated remote start-up method and remote start-up system of manual transmission vehicle
A remote start-up method of a manual transmission vehicle is provided. The method includes a parking braking force-associated remote start-up control that remotely starts-up an inclined parking vehicle parked on a ramp by confirming a situation where the parking braking force is maintained by a braking hydraulic pressure control of an electronic stability control (ESC) system in a remote start-up controller.
EPB AND WSS CONNECTING SYSTEM
A two-wire connecting system for linking an Electronic Parking Brake and Wheel Speed Sensor to a vehicle control module utilizing a ternary analogous signal. One or more diodes are implemented in the connecting system to selectively power the Electronic Parking Brake and Wheel Speed Sensor. By halving the number of wires, the connecting system is lighter than traditional 4-wire connecting systems that link an Electronic Parking Brake and Wheel Speed Sensor with a control module.
