Sensors (18, 19) that obtain respective wheel velocities of left and right wheels (5) arranged along the vehicle width direction are provided. A calculator (11) that calculates, when the left and right wheels (5) are not slipping, an average value (A) of the wheel velocities as the vehicle body, and calculates, when at least one of the left and right wheels (5) is slipping, the vehicle body velocity on the basis of the average value (A) and a lower velocity value (B) between the wheel velocities is provided. With this configuration, the precision in calculating the vehicle body velocity is enhanced, suppressing a cost rise.
VEHICLE BRAKING DEVICE
The disclosed vehicle braking device controls a hydraulic brake system (2) and a regeneration brake system (3) mounted on a vehicle (1) in accordance with an acceleration value and a brake value, and includes a first divider (11), a second divider (12), and a controller (13). The first divider (11) divides a driver demand torque set according to the accelerator value into a target coast torque and a remaining torque. The second divider (12) divides a sum of a deceleration torque set according to the brake value and the target coast torque divided by the first divider (11) into a hydraulic-brake demand torque and a regeneration-brake demand torque. The controller (13) controls the hydraulic brake system (2), using the hydraulic-brake demand torque, and controls the regeneration brake system (3), using a total regeneration brake torque calculated from the remaining torque and the regeneration-brake demand torque. This configuration can improve the feeling of operating the brake, resolving the feeling of the shortage of deceleration.

A method is provided for operating a motor vehicle brake system that includes an actuatable brake master cylinder, a hydraulic brake booster, and at least one brake circuit that has at least one hydraulically actuatable wheel brake and at least one hydraulic-pressure generator driven by electric motor. The method includes monitoring a state of actuation of the brake master cylinder is monitored, and, upon detecting a maximum state of actuation, activating the hydraulic-pressure generator to increase the hydraulic pressure adjusted by the brake master cylinder in the brake circuit.
VEHICLE-BASED ALGORITHM FOR FINDING THE TRAILER BRAKE OPTIMUM GAIN
A method for finding an optimum trailer gain, comprising: applying trailer brake pulses to a trailer while a vehicle is coasting using a trailer brake of a trailer, wherein the trailer is coupled to the vehicle; monitoring an average deceleration of the vehicle and the trailer brake gain of the trailer brake pulses applied to the trailer while the vehicle is coasting; generating a graph of the average deceleration of the vehicle versus the trailer brake gain, wherein the graph includes a curve that illustrates a relationship between the average deceleration of the vehicle and the trailer brake gain of the trailer brake pulses applied to the trailer while the vehicle is coasting; and finding a bend point of the curve in the graph to determine an optimum trailer brake gain.
Vehicle braking control device
This vehicle braking control device executes automatic braking control to adjust a braking torque on the basis of a vehicle target deceleration value corresponding to a distance between the vehicle and an object in front of the vehicle, and executes anti-skid control to suppress excessive wheel slip by adjusting the braking torque on the basis of a wheel speed. The braking control device calculates an actual deceleration value corresponding to the target deceleration value, and executes feedback control on the basis of the target deceleration value and the actual deceleration value such that the actual deceleration value approaches the target deceleration value. The configuration is such that a control gain of the feedback control is reduced when anti-skid control is executed. Further, the configuration may be such that execution of feedback control is prohibited when anti-skid control is executed.

The present invention relates to a braking arrangement for a vehicle, the braking arrangement comprising an electric machine electrically connectable to an electric power source, a brake compressor positioned in an air flow conduit, the brake compressor being configured to pressurize a flow of air and to exhaust the pressurized flow of air, and a compressor shaft mechanically connecting the electric machine and the brake compressor to each other, wherein the electric machine is configured to generate a torque on the compressor shaft for operating the brake compressor to pressurize the flow of air, the braking arrangement further comprising an air bearing arrangement, the air bearing arrangement being fluidly connectable to a pressurized brake air tank of the vehicle via an air bearing conduit, wherein the air bearing arrangement is suspending the compressor shaft to at least one of the electric machine and the brake compressor.
FAN TO DECELERATE VEHICLE AND PROVIDE COOLING TO FRICTION BRAKES
Apparatuses, systems, and methods apply, with a fan, a braking force to a vehicle that includes an axle. The fan is rotated at a first rotational speed based on a rotation of the axle that rotates at a second rotational speed. The first rotational speed is different from the second rotational speed. The fan applies the braking force when the fan rotates at the first rotational speed.
Dynamic resource allocation among different OFDM numerology schemes
The present disclosure relates to a resource allocation procedure for allocating time-frequency radio resources by a scheduler in a mobile communication system. A plurality of numerology schemes are defined, each partitioning a plurality of radio resources of the mobile communication system into resource scheduling units in a different manner. A reference resource set is defined per numerology scheme, each being associated to a set of radio resources usable for being allocated according to the respective numerology scheme. The reference resource set of at least one numerology scheme overlaps with the reference resource set of at least another numerology scheme in the frequency and/or time domain. The resource allocation procedure is performed for allocating radio resources to one or more user terminals according to the numerology schemes. The resource allocation procedure is performed for each numerology scheme based on a scheduling time interval defined for the respective numerology scheme.
