MOTOR VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM, METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME AND CONTROL APPLIANCE THEREFOR
A motor vehicle brake system is specified. The brake system comprises a driving dynamics regulation system, which is designed to carry out a wheel-specific regulating intervention on each of a plurality of vehicle wheels, and an electrically controllable actuator, which is designed to generate or boost a service brake force. The brake system further comprises a control, which is designed, in the event of an identified loss of function of the driving dynamics regulation system, to select one of at least two vehicle wheels on which a regulating intervention by the driving dynamics regulation system would be required and to electrically control the actuator on the basis of a regulating intervention determined for the selected vehicle wheel.
Solenoid valve and hydraulic braking system for a vehicle
In a solenoid valve for a hydraulic braking system, a valve body has a receiving region which at least partially accommodates a guide assembly, the valve armature running axially through at least one through-opening of the guide assembly. A mechanical detent device is formed between the guide assembly and the valve armature, the detent device releasing the valve armature when the latter is in a de-energised closed position, such that the restoring spring drives the valve armature and pushes the closing element sealingly into the valve seat to produce a sealing function, and said detent device fixes the valve armature in a de-energised open position against the force of the restoring spring in an axial detent position, such that the closing element is raised from the valve seat.
Regenerative braking control method of vehicle
A regenerative braking control method of a vehicle, may include a first operation of determining a driving risk of a road surface on the basis of a status of the road surface while driving; a second operation of determining whether an accelerator pedal is released while driving; a third operation of determining whether a brake pedal is operated while driving; and a fourth operation of performing no regenerative braking when the accelerator pedal is determined as being released, the driving risk of the road surface is determined as being high, and when the brake pedal is determined as not being operated.
HYDRAULIC BLOCK FOR A HYDRAULIC UNIT FOR A HYDRAULIC VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM
A hydraulic block for a hydraulic unit of a slip-controlled, hydraulic power vehicle braking system including a primary piston, which protrudes from the hydraulic block and at which a pin-shaped signal generator holder for a permanent magnet is situated. The primary piston and the signal generator holder are enclosed with a tubular housing the shape of a cylindrical bowl, at which abut two converging, tangential walls.
SIGNAL-PROCESSING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE HAVING AN ABS UNIT, VEHICLE, SIGNAL-PROCESSING METHOD FOR A VEHICLE, COMPUTER PROGRAMME AND CONTROL UNIT
The invention relates to a signal-processing device (402) for a vehicle having an ABS unit (404) and multiple wheels, each of which is assigned a sensor (S1, S2, S3, S4) for wheel signal generation. The signal-processing device (402) is designed to detect (602) a failure of a wheel signal, to form (604) a substitute signal for the failed wheel signal using the wheel signal of at least one sensor assigned to a wheel that is not affected by the failure, and to supply (606) the substitute signal to the ABS unit (404). The invention also relates to an ABS system (400) having the signal-processing device (402) and an ABS unit (404), a vehicle having the ABS system (400), a signal-processing method for a vehicle having an ABS unit (404), a computer programme having computer code for carrying out the signal-processing method, as well as a control unit containing the computer programme.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING BRAKE PRESSURE, VEHICLE, COMPUTER PROGRAMME AND CONTROL UNIT
A method and device for a vehicle having wheels which are each assigned a sensor for generating wheel signals. The unit determines whether a wheel is affected by a failure of the corresponding wheel signal. The unit acquires wheel signals which are assigned to the wheels, and for a wheel affected by a wheel signal failure, the corresponding wheel signal is acquired in the form of a substitute signal. The unit calculates a target brake pressure for a wheel at which an increase in brake pressure is necessary. The increase in brake pressure takes place in accordance with the wheel signal which is obtained for the wheel and in accordance with the determination as to whether the wheel is affected by a wheel signal failure. The unit further determines a slip threshold for an anti-lock brake control operation applied to the wheel affected by the wheel signal failure.
Power hop anticipation and mitigation
Longitudinal acceleration, intended travel angle, wheel speed, and requested drive torque signals are measured for a vehicle. The longitudinal acceleration, intended travel angle, wheel speed, and requested drive torque signals are then evaluated. A brake torque is calculated as a function of a propulsive torque, wherein the propulsive torque is produced by a power source for the vehicle. The brake torque is applied when the longitudinal acceleration signal exceeds a longitudinal acceleration threshold, the intended travel angle signal is between intended travel angle limits, the wheel speed signal is less than a minimum speed threshold, the requested drive torque signal exceeds a requested drive torque threshold, and a torque threshold is exceeded.
System and Method for Wheel-Slip Prevention in Railway Vehicles with Pneumatic Brakes
A control system for wheel-slip prevention in a railway vehicle with a pneumatic brake is provided. The control system comprises an input interface configured to accept a deceleration reference for controlling the pneumatic brake, and a memory configured to store a reference governor providing executable instructions for modifying the deceleration reference upon its violation of a wheel-slip constraint, and configured to store a controller providing executable instructions for mapping the modified deceleration reference to a sequence of control commands for controlling pressure applied by the pneumatic brake. The control system further comprises a processor configured to execute the reference governor to modify the deceleration reference and configured to execute the controller to map the modified deceleration reference to the sequence of control commands. Further, an output interface of the control system is configured to output the sequence of control commands to control the pneumatic brake.
