SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELF-TEST OF INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNIT (IMU)
An inertial measurement unit (IMU) self-test system includes an IMU and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to receive IMU data collected by the IMU and inputs from systems external to the IMU indicative of mechanical stimulus, wherein the control circuit utilizes IMU data collected in response to the mechanical stimulus to determine IMU validity.
LANE KEEPING SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE IN WIND CONDITIONS
A lane keeping system includes an absolute pressure sensor located in a door on each of opposing sides of a vehicle. Each sensor generates a signal indicative of a door cavity pressure on that side of the vehicle. A safety restraint system (SRS) controller is in communication with the pressure sensor. The SRS controller is configured to determine a collision event in response to the signal (e.g., increased pressure in the door as it is crushed) and activate a safety restraint component in response to the determined collision event. A lane keeping system (LKS) controller is in communication with the pressure sensors. The LKS controller determines a lateral wind force on the vehicle in response to the signal from each pressure sensor. The LKS controller determines a correction in response to the determined lateral wind force to maintain the vehicle along a desired path.

Engine control device
An engine control device applied to a vehicle equipped with an actuator for changing a suspension property of the vehicle, a suspension control device for driving the actuator, and an engine. The engine control device automatically stops the engine operation when a stop condition is satisfied and automatically starts the engine operation when a start condition is satisfied, continues the engine operation when a signal for inhibiting the automatic stop of the engine operation is sent to the engine control device in order to drive the actuator and the engine control device judges that no malfunction occurs in the suspension control device even if the stop condition is satisfied, and ignores the signal and automatically stops the engine operation when the stop condition is satisfied and judges that the malfunction occurs in the suspension control device even if the signal is sent to the engine control device.

Vehicle height control apparatus and method considering strong wind traveling situation
A vehicle height control apparatus considering a strong wind traveling situation may include: a strong wind zone determining unit for obtaining wind speed information of a current position by using map information to which the wind speed information is corresponded and current position information of a vehicle, and generating strong wind zone information by comparing the obtained wind speed information with a predetermined reference wind speed to determine a strong wind zone; a strong wind traveling situation determining unit for generating strong wind traveling situation information by determining the strong wind traveling situation based on the strong wind zone information and the vehicle speed information of the current position; and a control signal generating unit for generating a control signal of a vehicle height adjusting device according to the strong wind traveling situation information.
Idling stop control device
An electronic control device automatically stops an engine operation when a remaining electric power amount index value is equal to or larger than an engine stop permission threshold. The device automatically restarts the engine operation when the remaining electric power amount index value is smaller than an engine restart threshold after the engine operation is automatically stopped. The device changes the engine stop permission threshold from a first threshold, which has been set until a start of an activation of an electric actuator, to a second threshold, which is larger than the first threshold, when the automatic engine stop is not carried out and the activation of the actuator is detected.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING A DRIVELINE
Some embodiments of the present invention provide a control system configured to control a driveline of a motor vehicle to operate in a selected one of a plurality of configurations, the system being configured to receive a signal indicative of a location of the vehicle, the system being configured to cause the driveline to operate in a configuration selected in dependence at least in part on the signal indicative of the location of the vehicle.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE
A method, apparatus, system, vehicle, and/or computer program provides that one or more components of a vehicle are operated as a function of a predetermined pick-up time of the vehicle at a pick-up position of a parking facility in such a way that the vehicle exhibits one or more predetermined states at the pick-up position at the predetermined pick-up time.
