Charging system with sensor diagnosis function and method of diagnosing sensor applied to the same
A charging system with a sensor diagnosis function is provided. The system includes an AC input voltage sensor that detects a voltage of an input end with an AC power applied thereto and a resistor that is connected to the input end. A power factor correction circuit unit adjusts and outputs a power factor of AC power applied through the resistor. An output voltage of the power factor correction circuit unit is applied to a capacity of the system. A controller then diagnoses the AC input voltage sensor based on a value of current passing through the resistor, a value of a voltage of the capacitor, and a resistance value of the resistor.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INCREASING VEHICLE ENERGY SUPPLY
Methods and systems are provided for preparing an energy receiving apparatus of a vehicle for receiving an increase in a level of energy storage prior to a vehicle reaching an energy replenishment station for receiving the increase. In one example, a method comprises via a controller, requesting a confirmation as to whether a vehicle operator intends to stop at a particular energy replenishment station, and when confirmation is received, commanding one or more actions to prepare the energy receiving apparatus for accepting the energy level increase. In this way, a time-frame for accepting the energy level increase may be reduced as compared to situations where the one or more actions are not undertaken.

Aggregation system, control method thereof, and control apparatus
In an aggregation system comprising a control apparatus which is provided for each consumer and a server apparatus, the server apparatus calculates, for each of the consumers and as an allocation amount of the consumer, an upper limit value for the power which the consumer inputs from the system or a lower limit value for the power which the consumer is to output to the system, according to a requested power provision amount, and sends the respective control instructions designating the calculated allocation amount of each consumer to the control apparatus of the consumer, and the control apparatuses each control the charging and discharging of the corresponding power apparatus so that the power input from the system is equal to or smaller than the allocation amount designated in the control instruction or so that power equal to or larger than the allocation amount is output to the system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING ENERGY GENERATION IN A HYBRID POWERTRAIN
An apparatus includes an energy storage circuit, an input circuit, and a hybrid management circuit. The energy storage circuit is structured to receive a state of charge (SOC) and a state of health (SOH) of an energy storage device. The input circuit is structured to receive an indication of a torque demand. The hybrid management circuit is structured to determine a first torque output for a genset including an engine and a first motor-generator based on the torque demand and the SOC of the energy storage device; determine an adjustment factor based on the SOH of the energy storage device; determine an adjusted torque output for the genset based on the adjustment factor and the first torque output; operate the genset to provide the adjusted torque output and to generate an amount of energy; and operate a second motor-generator at a second torque output to meet the torque demand.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING HYBRID VEHICLE
According to a control method for a hybrid vehicle that is caused to run by a drive motor as a load being supplied with electric power of a battery and electric power generated by an electric generator, a total distance to empty is calculated on the basis of a shortage of a generating power output of the electric generator with respect to a required running power output and an amount of charge remaining in the battery. Specifically, a length of time for which the shortage of the generating power output of the electric generator with respect to the required running power output is covered by the amount of charge remaining in the battery is calculated, and a distance that the hybrid vehicle can run for this length of time is set as a total distance to empty.
