A method for operating an electrically operated or also electrically operable motor vehicle provided with a rechargeable electric energy storage device associated with the drive motor of the motor vehicle. A target charging state is determined for the energy storage device and an operating strategy is determined for a route that is calculated, entered or predicted for the next trip, by which recuperative deceleration is enabled with a specifiable minimum amount for deceleration processes occurring along the route. A total mass of the motor vehicle, including optionally a trailer connected to the motor vehicle, deviating from an input normal value and an air resistance of the motor vehicle deviating from a predetermined normal value are taken into account.
VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE
An electronic control unit stores a vehicle load at the time when the vehicle is switched into an ignition off state, stops operation of an electric oil pump when the vehicle load is small, and operates the electric oil pump when the vehicle load is large. Thus, a decrease in service life due to an increase in the number of times of the start of the electric oil pump is suppressed, and, when it is estimated that the vehicle load is large, the response of the start of a vehicle, which makes a driver experience a feeling of strangeness, is improved by starting the electric oil pump together with switching the vehicle into an ignition on state.
LUBRICATING OIL SUPPLY DEVICE AND LUBRICATING OIL SUPPLY CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE
A lubricating oil supply device for a vehicle includes an electric oil pump and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to control the electric oil pump, determine whether or not lubricating oil needs to be supplied by the electric oil pump, control a drive duty of the electric oil pump to a first value when the ECU determines that lubricating oil needs to be supplied, and control the drive duty to a second value that is smaller than the first value when the ECU determines that lubricating oil does not need to be supplied. The electronic control unit is configured to perform duty variable control for controlling the drive duty to a third value, which is between the first value and the second value, during a predetermined changeover transition period, in changing over the drive duty from the first value to the second value.
VEHICLE DEVICE
A vehicle system includes: a reprogramming slave device that is an electronic control unit (hereinafter, referred to as ECU) to be a target of updating an update file of a program stored among a plurality of the ECUs; a reprogramming master device that transmits the update file to the reprogramming slave device in response to a request from a terminal operable by a vehicle user to control updating of the program stored in the reprogramming slave device; and a determination unit that determines traveling propriety of a vehicle when the update file is rewritten in the reprogramming slave device. The vehicle device functions as the reprogramming master device, and includes: an obtaining unit that obtains the traveling propriety determined by the determination unit; and a notification command unit that commands a notification medium to notify information of the traveling propriety obtained by the obtaining unit.

A vehicle system includes: a reprogramming slave device that is an electronic control unit (hereinafter, referred to as ECU) to be a target of updating an update file of a program stored among a plurality of the ECUs; a reprogramming master device that transmits the update file to the reprogramming slave device in response to a request from a terminal operable by a vehicle user to control updating of the program stored in the reprogramming slave device; and a determination unit that determines traveling propriety of a vehicle when the update file is rewritten in the reprogramming slave device. The vehicle device functions as the reprogramming master device, and includes: an obtaining unit that obtains the traveling propriety determined by the determination unit; and a notification command unit that commands a notification medium to notify information of the traveling propriety obtained by the obtaining unit.

In some examples, a controller receives information of a route of a vehicle, and selects a first parameter set from among a plurality of parameter sets based on the route of the vehicle, the plurality of parameter sets corresponding to different conditions of usage of the vehicle, where each parameter set of the plurality of parameter sets includes one or more parameters that control adjustment of one or more respective adjustable elements of the vehicle. The controller causes application of the first parameter set to control a setting of the one or more adjustable elements of the vehicle.

The disclosure provides an early notification system to alert a driver of an approaching unsafe autonomous or semi-autonomous driving zone so that a driver may switch vehicle to a non-autonomous driving mode and navigate safely through the identified location. The device includes a starting unit capable of starting the device, an identification unit configured to identify a place of stay where an occupant of the vehicle spends time after getting out of the vehicle, an estimation unit configured to estimate a stay period of the occupant at the place of stay, and a determination unit configured to determine, based on the stay period, a scheduled time at which the starting unit is to start the device before the occupant gets into the vehicle.
Device and method of controlling starting of vehicle devices
A control device for controlling a device provided in a vehicle is provided. The device includes a starting unit capable of starting the device, an identification unit configured to identify a place of stay where an occupant of the vehicle spends time after getting out of the vehicle, an estimation unit configured to estimate a stay period of the occupant at the place of stay, and a determination unit configured to determine, based on the stay period, a scheduled time at which the starting unit is to start the device before the occupant gets into the vehicle.
