SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE GROUND SPEED OF AN AGRICULTURAL SPRAYER DURING A TURN
20220396263 · 2022-12-15 ·

An agricultural sprayer includes a computing system configured to receive a first input associated with a target application rate at which agricultural fluid is to be dispensed onto the field. Moreover, the computing system is configured to receive a second input associated with a turn being made or to be made by the sprayer. Additionally, the computing system is configured to determine a maximum ground speed for the turn at which a selected nozzle dispenses the agricultural fluid onto the field at the target application rate based on the received first and second inputs. Furthermore, when the turn is being made, the computing system is configured to control an operation of the sprayer such that the ground speed of the sprayer is at or below the determined maximum ground speed.

There is provided a hybrid vehicle that enables user to be more appropriately notified of a control effect by performing a drive support control. A hybrid vehicle includes an engine; a motor; a battery; map information; and a control device programmed to set a drive route from a current location to a destination, to create a drive support plan that assigns one of drive modes including a CD mode and a CS mode to each of drive sections of the drive route, and to perform drive support control that causes the hybrid vehicle to be driven along the drive support plan. The control device accumulates control effect obtained by performing the drive support control and notifies the control effect when the hybrid vehicle reaches the destination. The control device deletes the control effect when the predetermined deletion condition is satisfied.

Method and device for controlling start of mild hybrid vehicle

A method for controlling a start of a mild hybrid vehicle that includes an engine, a starter-generator starting the engine or generating electricity by an output of the engine, a starter starting the engine, and a battery supplying electric power to the starter-generator may include: determining, by a controller configured for controlling an operation of the vehicle, whether a start of the vehicle is requested; checking, by the controller, current limit data of the battery when the start of the vehicle is requested; checking, by the controller, start torque current data of the starter-generator according to state data of the vehicle; comparing, by the controller, the current limit data with the start torque current data; and starting, by the controller, the engine using the starter-generator or the starter according to a result of the comparing, by the controller, the current limit data with the start torque current data.

A Method for Driving at Least One Power Consumer Connected to A Powertrain

The invention relates to a method, performed by a control device, for driving at least one power consumer connected to a powertrain of a vehicle. The at least one propulsion unit comprises a first electrical machine and a second electrical machine, wherein the first electrical machine is connected to a first main shaft and the second electrical machine is connected to a second main shaft. A connection shaft is connected to the first electrical machine; and the at least one power consumer comprises a first power consumer connected to the first main shaft and/or a second power consumer connected to the connection shaft. The method comprising: controlling the powertrain to provide uninterrupted propelling torque on the first main shaft and/or on the connection shaft during a stand still condition of the output shaft of the gearbox and/or during a transition from a stand still condition to a rotational condition of the output shaft of the gearbox, and/or during gear shifting from one gear to another gear in the gearbox. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a powertrain, a computer program and a computer-readable medium.

CABIN PREFERENCES SETTING THAT IS BASED ON IDENTIFICATION OF ONE OR MORE PERSONS IN THE CABIN

A method that may include receiving driving information and environmental metadata indicative of information sensed by the vehicle; detecting multiple driving events encountered during the driving over the path; determining driving events; for each driving event, determining a comfort based autonomous driving pattern information; for each driving event, determining an driving event identifier; and storing in at least one data structure a driving event identifier for each one of the multiple types of driving events, and a comfort based autonomous driving pattern information.

Method and system supporting obtaining of body parameters of a person outside a vehicle

The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a body parameters supporting system of a vehicle for supporting obtaining body parameters of a person. The body parameters supporting system determines—with input from one or more surrounding detecting sensors adapted to capture a surrounding exterior of the vehicle—one or more body parameters capturing conditions for a person present outside the vehicle. The body parameters supporting system further communicates one or more instruction signals indicating one or more body motion and/or obstruction removal instructions, wherein the one or more instruction signals are determined in consideration of counteracting, changing and/or overcoming at least one of the one or more body parameters capturing conditions. The disclosure also relates to a body parameters supporting system in accordance with the foregoing, and a vehicle comprising such a body parameters supporting system.

High visibility lighting for autonomous vehicles

A system has a microcontroller with operative control of a set of vehicle lights including an ability to flash all of the set of vehicle signal lights simultaneously as hazard flashers and an ability to strobe all of the set of vehicle signal lights as high conspicuity emergency lighting. Upon receipt of an indication from a vehicle data bus that the vehicle is slowing as a result of a stopping event, the microcontroller determines a speed of the vehicle and strobes the set of vehicle signal lights as high conspicuity emergency lighting if the speed of the vehicle is below a predetermined threshold.
