DRIVING ASSIST METHOD AND DRIVING ASSIST DEVICE
20210327276 · 2021-10-21 ·

A driving assist method reduces a possibility of missing an opportunity to correct a host vehicle position set on map data. In the driving assist method using a controller that sets a target inter-vehicular distance from a host vehicle to a preceding vehicle, whether there is a request to execute a correction of a host vehicle position set on electronic map data is determined based on a result of comparing position information on a road sign described on the electronic map data with position information on the road sign acquired by using a camera installed in the host vehicle. If an execution request has not been made, the target inter-vehicular distance is set to a preset first target inter-vehicular distance. If an execution request has been made, the target inter-vehicular distance is set to a second target inter-vehicular distance, which is longer than the first target inter-vehicular distance.

LANE CHANGE ASSISTANCE METHOD, VEHICLE-MOUNTED DEVICE AND READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

A lane change assistance method is provided. The method includes recognizing styles of two traffic lines corresponding to a lane where a vehicle is located. Whether the vehicle violates traffic rules is determined according to the styles of the two traffic lines when the vehicle is performing an operation of changing lanes. A prompt is issued when the vehicle violates traffic rules.

VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD

A vehicle control device of a vehicle includes: an action plan creating part that creates an action plan for autonomous driving by the vehicle; and a distance detection part that outputs detection information on detection of an object. The action plan creating part includes a collision probability map setting part configured to, when the distance detection part detects an obstacle, determine a collision probability map, which is a two-dimensional map of a collision probability distribution representing likelihood of a collision between the vehicle and the detected obstacle in a two-dimensional space of a location and a speed. The action plan creating part is configured to create a current action plan based on the collision probability map, a predetermined target collision probability, and a current location and a current speed of the vehicle.

Control of a Motor Vehicle

A method comprises the steps of detecting a first trajectory of a first motor vehicle while traveling a predetermined route; determining a course of the route based on predetermined map data; determining a quality to which the trajectory and the course correspond; and transmitting the quality to a second motor vehicle.

On board a second motor vehicle, a course of a route may be determined on the basis of predetermined map data; a quality associated with the course may be detected; an environment of the second motor vehicle may be scanned; a second trajectory may be determined by merging the course with the scan; and the second motor vehicle may be controlled to follow the second trajectory.

MAP GENERATION SYSTEM, SERVER, VEHICLE-SIDE DEVICE, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR AUTONOMOUSLY DRIVING VEHICLE

A map generation system provides to: acquire an image of the vehicle's environment from the imaging device; analyze the image to calculate the position of a feature on the road; upload map information including the position of the feature to a server; and statistically determines the coordinates of individual features in the uploaded map information. The features include a reference mark whose absolute coordinates are determined. The coordinates of the features other than the reference mark are corrected so as to match the observation coordinates of the reference mark corresponding to the absolute coordinates of the reference mark.

VEHICLE DATA CLASSIFYING METHOD AND VEHICLE DATA CLASSIFYING DEVICE

Repeatedly performing a process of selecting vehicle data within a second time from time-series data, while shifting a selection range by a third time and causing a portion of the previous selection range and a portion of the current selection range to overlap, and determining a vehicle state indicated by the vehicle data included in each of the selection ranges; and selecting a detection time period of the vehicle data to be classified, selecting all of the selection ranges that include the vehicle data of the selected detection time period, identifying the vehicle state that is most numerous among one or more vehicle states indicated by the vehicle data included in the selected selection ranges, and classifying all of the types of vehicle data detected in the selected detection time period as data of the identified vehicle state.

Driving support apparatus

A driving support apparatus is provided to improve accuracy of the driving support such as a notification to the driver and the vehicle control. In the apparatus, a common parameter indicating a location of a lane boundary is calculated for the vehicle control, based on an actual boundary line where a location of the lane boundary line existing at both sides of the vehicle is actually measured. A common error is defined as an error between the location of an estimated boundary indicated by the common parameter and a location of the actual boundary line. In the case where the common error is larger than or equal to a common threshold in which an amount of the common error is set in advance, the apparatus determines that the travelling road where the vehicle travels is branched and stops the vehicle control using the common parameter.

Vehicle control apparatus

Even in the case that a learning flag and an ACC permission flag are not set, if a power switch is in an ON state, a travel control of a second control state, which is capable of being executed in a setting in which an inter-vehicle distance setting is a short setting or a host vehicle velocity setting is a low setting, is carried out.

GRAPH-BASED METHOD FOR THE HOLISTIC FUSION OF MEASURED DATA

A method for fusing state data via a control unit. State data of a first mobile unit and of an object ascertained via a sensor system of the first mobile unit are received. State data of an object ascertained via a sensor system of a second mobile unit and/or state data of the second mobile unit, transmitted via a communication link from the second mobile unit to the first mobile unit, are received. A node is created in a time-position diagram for each set of received state data of the first mobile unit, the second mobile unit, and the objects. A data optimization of the state data ascertained by the first mobile unit and/or by the second mobile unit is carried out. An optimization problem is created based on the optimized state data ascertained by the first mobile unit and the optimized state data received from the second mobile unit.
