Vehicle control method and system, vehicle, and storage medium

This application relates to a vehicle control method and system, a vehicle, and a storage medium. The vehicle control method includes: when a braking system fails, activating a backup braking system, the backup braking system decelerating a vehicle by controlling a regenerative motor; when a steering system fails, implementing transverse control over the vehicle by controlling the braking system; and when a parking system fails, implementing parking by controlling a motor and the braking system to work alternately. According to this method, safety control over the vehicle can be implemented when the original braking system, steering system, or parking system fails.

Hybrid vehicle and control method for the same

A hybrid vehicle includes an internal combustion engine, an electric power storage device, an electric motor, a shutter, and an electronic control unit. The shutter is configured to introduce air into an engine compartment of the hybrid vehicle from outside the hybrid vehicle during traveling of the hybrid vehicle in a state where the shutter is open. The electronic control unit is configured to control the internal combustion engine, the electric motor and the shutter. The electronic control unit is configured to control the hybrid vehicle such that starting of the internal combustion engine is more suppressed in a case where the shutter is in a malfunctioning state than in a case where the shutter is not in the malfunctioning state. The malfunctioning state is a state where an opening degree of the shutter does not reach a predetermined opening degree.

A method for controlling a fuel pump for a hybrid diesel vehicle may include determining, by a control device, whether to drive the hybrid diesel vehicle in an EV driving mode or in an engine driving mode by reflecting a vehicle driving state information value and stopping, by the control device, operation of a fuel pump relay when the determination is made to drive in the EV driving mode.

Hybrid vehicles

A hybrid vehicle comprises an internal combustion engine, a traction motor, a starter motor, and a battery bank, all controlled by a microprocessor in accordance with the vehicle's instantaneous torque demands so that the engine is run only under conditions of high efficiency, typically only when the load is at least equal to 30% of the engine's maximum torque output. In some embodiments, a turbocharger may be provided, activated only when the load exceeds the engine's maximum torque output for an extended period; a two-speed transmission may further be provided, to further broaden the vehicle's load range. A hybrid brake system provides regenerative braking, with mechanical braking available in the event the battery bank is fully charged, in emergencies, or at rest; a control mechanism is provided to control the brake system to provide linear brake feel under varying circumstances.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING HYBRID VEHICLE

A method for controlling a hybrid vehicle is provided. The method includes setting a driving path of the vehicle based on an input destination and current position and predicting a future speed of the vehicle using information regarding the driving path, environmental information, and driving pattern information of a driver. An optimum power distribution map is derived including an optimum SOC trajectory and a power distribution ratio of the engine and the motor using the predicted future speed. Additionally, engine power and motor power is distributed using the optimum SOC trajectory and a power distribution ratio of the engine and the motor.

Control system for a plug-in hybrid vehicle

A control system for a plug-in hybrid vehicle includes a drive system including a starter motor, a transverse engine, and a motor/generator, and a power supply system including a high voltage battery, a capacitor, and a hybrid control module that controls charging and discharging of the capacitor. In the control system for an FF plug-in hybrid vehicle in which an external charging of the high-power battery is available, the hybrid control module starts the starter, performs mode selection control and charge/discharge control, maintains a capacitor voltage at or below a deterioration free voltage when the CS mode is selected during ignition on, and recharges the capacitor to a starter start-up permission voltage that allows the starter to start when a pre-forecast of the reverse transition from the CS mode to the CD mode is established.

Method for controlling gear shift

A method for controlling a power-split gear shift device in a vehicle by providing an electric variator and a transmission with variable gear shift and connecting a drive motor to a traction drive of the vehicle. The electric variator has a compound gear train with at least one first and at least one second electric machine. The method also includes providing a controller for the electric machines for steplessly varying a gear shift of the compound gear train. Upon detection of an external power requirement by an electric consumer, a gear shift region of the transmission with variable gear shift is set to operate the first electric machine in a generator mode and to operate the second electric machine to compensate for an existing power deficit or a power excess relative to an external power demand.

CONTROL APPARATUS
20170028980 · 2017-02-02 · ·

A control apparatus and method for a hybrid vehicle that searches for and determines a scheduled travel route and a downhill section included in the scheduled travel route on the basis of positional information of the vehicle and road information. The control apparatus determines a section from a downhill control start point to an end point of a target downhill section as a controlled target section. The downhill control start point is located a predetermined first distance before a start point of the target downhill section. When the vehicle travels on the controlled target section, the control apparatus executes downhill control. Even in a situation in which a target downhill section is newly determined during execution of the downhill control, the control apparatus continues the downhill control until the vehicle reaches an end point of the controlled target section for which the downhill control is started.

CONTROL APPARATUS FOR HYBRID VEHICLE

A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle determines a scheduled travel route. The control apparatus further determines a downhill section included in the scheduled travel route by using gradient information acquired for a road section at a time when the vehicle has traveled on the road section and using gradient information stored in a navigation database for a road section on which the vehicle travels for a first time. The control apparatus determines a section from a downhill control start point to an end point of the target downhill section as a downhill control section. The downhill control start point is a point located a predetermined first distance closer to the vehicle from a start point of the target downhill section. When the vehicle travels on the downhill control section, the control apparatus executes downhill control.
